Take the trip! - Worth it!! The entire experience was executed beautifully by Jonathan he was an awesome Tour guide and really made this experience enjoyable.

Great value, full filled day - We had a great day out yesterday to Holbox island. Booked through Trip Advisor, was £89 per person and we just had to pay the island tax of $350MXN pp. The company was NS Vacations Tours and our guide was Alex. His English wasn't great to be honest, but we still all managed to understand each other. The trip had main 5 elements, but this is the full details: We got picked up from Riu Playacar at 8am, then got taken to their small office to pay the taxes. Offered water, coffee and cake there too. Then drove 1hr 40mins to the port area, with a free toilet stop too. (Note they charge $100MXN for toilets at the port) We then took a small boat to the first place to see the flamingos. Get out of boat, waist height water, 20 mins to explore + shot of tequila Then in boat again for next 40 min stop, again out of boat, bit deeper but we were still ok with phones. This was more like a sand bank. We couldn't reach the island as the water got too deep with our phones, but at one point sand bank was only ankle deep. The boat the took us to main bit of Holbox, and on the way we saw some dolphins that came right up to the boat! 👍 Holbox main bit, we got taken for lunch, pre-ordered, in a little restaurant. Was delicious, we had grilled chicken, rice and salad. Then had a couple of hours to wander, we had some Holbox black Ice-cream which is coconut, vanilla and chocolate. Some amazing sights to see. Then the boat took us to Parque Ecoturistico, where we were able to swim in a cold water hole (not really a cenote) but it was full of minows. It rained quite hard so didn't get much chance to explore but think there are other things to see/do there too. Then a trip back to the port, where we saw a crocodile under the floorboards in the port house thing! We got back to the hotel about 6:30pm A great day, good value and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

A must - Fabulous experience guides were very attentive and the tour options were plenty. What a great day to spend you will talk about this forever.
