Lovely family trip to Holbox - Genero was a lovely tour guide, recommended a great place for icecream and we had such a good time. Usually not a fan of all day trips as they can drag, but this one didn't. It was a shame we couldn't visit Punta Mosquito, but that was no one's fault as the weather had been an issue. The only thing I would say is that the food wasn't amazing and there were so many yummy places to eat on Isla Holbox. It would have been nice if there was also a package which was offered without the food option as well so people could wonder around.

First 2024 Trip - Get the VIP treatment and make sure to take a change of clothes. All the stops will have you taking pictures and having a great time. Our tour gave us a great experience at every stop and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. Although Holbox had just had a storm give it a pulling of ears, it was still nice to enjoy. Great company and awesome tour guide.

Safety disregarded - The pick up was late, so the driver was going very fast, disregarding safety. Other than that it was great. The boat ride was very fast also, don’t know if it is customary.

Not the wow we were expecting - Our tour could have been better if the tour guide would have engaged with the group . The sites we visited were just ok and did not provide the wow factor. Most of the day was spent in the van transporting to Holbox. It was 2hr 20 minutes one way. The lunch at the restaurant was just ok. The options were fish only. My review is not a reflection on the owner of the company but an overview of our experience.

Could have been better - While the views were very nice our tour would have been better iif our guide would have engaged with our group. We were very uninformed and were only reminded of what time to be back to the meeting place. Being from Florida the views were not as spectacular but we did enjoy the Cenote. Our money unfortunately was not well spent on the excursion.

Buyer beware! - This trip is overrated and not worth the money, buyer beware! First thing, make sure you notice the 540 pesos per person surcharge that is located with what is included but has a little x next to it so it is not. This was the first bad surprise. The bus was a rinky dink little bus with bad shocks. I've seen better colectivo buses than this thing.first we had to stop for gas. Then the drive was a harrowing 2 hour drive at very fast speeds. You would think the driver thought it was a race as his mission was to pass every vehicle he encountered. The boat to the island is a small fishing boat and not the ferry. If there is wind and waves, you are in for quite a ride. The meal was just ok in what looked like someones house. The island is nice with nice bars and restaurants. The ride back home was another race drive home. Definitely not worth what we paid. By the way, that tax, they want it in cash, so imagine where that money is going. Driver had maui jim sunglasses, need i say more .
