Check 3 sites off your list in a day! - From my 6 am pickup, Marcela was enthusiastic and kept the energy up throughout all the sites and the ride back. The driver was polite and we had a smooth ride for napping too. This tour is a great way to see a whole lot in a day. I felt like the timing at each location was perfect. We were never hurrying or sitting around with nothing to do. I liked that we got to eat some Mexican food too and that there were vegetarian/vegan options.

Incredible experience. Unforgettable sights. Amazing tour guides. - This tour was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. First I have to thank the tour guides, Arturo and Johnny, who were amazing. They had everything under control the entire time and logistically everything went incredibly smooth (which is an amazing feat considering they had to commute a group of people to three different archaeological sites.) Communication was excellent the entire time and we always knew where we were going, where we were supposed to be and what information we needed which allowed me to focus on enjoying the moment. Arturo was knowledgeable, funny, and very personable, and it was really a pleasure to spend the day with him. Secondly, the tour sites are simply incredible. Chichen Itza is breathtaking. What more can I say? If you’re visiting the Yucatán Peninsula, this is a must see. No pictures or videos you find on the Internet can replicate the feeling of seeing this place with your own eyes. Ek Balam exceeded my expectations and climbing to the top of the ruins and seeing the surroundings is something I’ll never forget. Last but not least, swimming in the beautiful cenote feels like something out of a movie. Hands down, this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Was it a long day? Yes. Was it physically demanding? Yes. Did I sweat more than I thought I was capable of? Absolutely yes. But it’s a small price to pay for this incredible experience.

World Wonder !! - Our tour guide was Thomas Ruiz and he was amazing, very knowledgeable and informative. We learnt about the Mayan culture and how they use astronomy to make there calendar with the opportunity to buy your own personal one ( about £20) at the end of the tour we met a Mayan. We got a detailed walked through tour in both ecological sites, learning how the temples were used and what each symbol represented. We ended the day in a cenote, to cool down. There was also a jump you could do in to the water and there was turtles on the rocks This day took us around 12/14 hours so I would recommend doing it within a few days of arriving to Mexico while still jet lagged Tips ! - bring pesos for taxes in to ecological sites - wear a hat - wear comfortable shoes - stay hydrated - Bring snacks it is a long day with an early start - wear plenty of suncream and bring it with you

Do not miss this trip!! - It has always been a dream to visit Chichén Itza and Jorge and Jose made it even better. Jose was a master at driving us through the perilous jungle roads avoiding mindless drivers and unknowing iguanas,,,,, and the occasional pothole. Jorge was an encyclopedia of knowledge of the areas we visited with various pictures and clap-alongs in front of El Castillo and the ball court. These two guides were an absolute pleasure to be around. It is kind of a whirlwind trip starting early in the morning from Cancun. Chichén Itza is a once in a lifetime visit but so is Ek Balam. The fact that you can still climb the ruins at Ek Balam just makes this trip an absolute must. Ek Balam was quiet with maybe 30 other visitors at the noon time hour. The view from the top of the Acropolis….breathtaking. I could really have used a little bit more time here for exploring since you could climb the structures. You are standing where the ancient Maya stood. And then to finish the trip off at the Chichikan cenote was very refreshing. This is a beautiful cenote with a hole at the top to allow light in. An artificial water fall adds to the experience and is something you should not miss. I highly recommend this excursion and ask for Jose and Jorge!!!

Worth the travel that includes multiple historic sites - A highly recommended trip if travelling to Cancun. This was on my bucket list and the tour did justice to my expectations. I personally would have preferred more time at Chichen Itza with more information provided. However it was good with the time frames available. Had it been slightly longer, it would been a 5* trip. The guide was freindly and helpful.

False advertising on price @ Tripadvisor - I did not book on this site because its false advertising. It advertised $87.15 CAD (per adult) on the top/main screen, but when you are paying or checkout page, it says $142.69 CAD. I double checked & made sure to choose the date where it says $88 on that particular day, but still charges $142.69 (per adult) on checkout. I also tried increasing the number of people just to find some answers or lower the price per head, but nothing helped:( It doesn't have any explanation why $87.15 changed to $142.69. What a scam-like ad! Also, entrance fee & taxes to the archeological sites are not included…u need to pay these as extras). I tried to post a website to help others where to look this same tour or maybe book cheaper (better pricing & includes the entrance fee & taxes already) but tripadvisor won’t allow it, so just google it “chichen-itzatours” (they are direct operators)... I hope this time, my post won’t be flagged. I’m jst trying to help if I could & it’s not even my own business that I’m advertising. I’m jst a tourist trying to look for best deals on tours I want & came across that site… as we all know, looking for tours in the internet shows a lot of providers & it’s very confusing coz some use $US, some $Canadian & some extras/ additional fees are mixed as $US or $Cad … u need to do the $conversion & factor in what & what’s not included etc…& importantly the reviews! So be careful & do research & good luck!
