Perfectly organized, fun and absolutely worth it! - This tour was just beyond special! 😊 We booked it on the evening before and everything was beautifully planned. We could ask all our questions and the tour guides on the bus taught us about the mayan culture and even about the language. We felt absolute safe and pampered and had so much fun during the day. It was well organized and we had enough time to enjoy the different stops. The guides made sure everyone was taken care of and even gave us tips about where to take pictures. We even had an English tour guide at chichén itzá which helped a lot with understanding this magical place. All in all a great tour that I can fully recommend and would participate in again any time. Thank you for everything! ❤️

Great deal, would recommend - Everything was great, good value for money, is a long day out in hot weather so not ideal for families with kids perhaps, but great way to see multiple places

Fun, but lots of hidden costs - There’s a reason it’s the cheapest tour on the website….. not necessarily an issue but prepare to pay up for a bunch of little things. $40 for chichen itza admission, $5+ for chichen itza tour guide tip, $10+ for bus driver/staff tip, $5+ per drink at the buffet lunch (you can’t bring in water), $20+ for biodegradable sunscreen/bug spray……..it adds up quick That being said, it was super convenient to be picked up directly from playa del Carmen and shuttled around all day. I enjoyed it but I wish I knew ahead of time about all the extra costs.

Really worth to do it! - A bit disorganized and late during the pickup in Cancun, but the trip was amazing (maya village, chichen Itza, cenote and Valladolid)! Full of stories about the ancient cultur of Maya and professional guides. Also little rewards during the bus trip! Nice! It could last a bit more, but appreciated the overall!

Marathon day, company put us on wrong bus - They picked us up at our rental and took us to a central hub, where we paid $190 in taxes and then were told to wait until we were called. We were never called - they didn’t tell us to wait in a specific space. We ended up on a bus that was not our tour - because there were parts that we didn’t pay for they had us stay longer at Chichen Itza, which was fine, except we then had to wait on a bus for 30 minutes while others finished their second Cenote. This was quite unpleasant. To be honest, all I wanted was to see Chichen Itza, and whereas seeing other sights was fine. The Chichen tour was only about 44 minutes. When it was over, we explored on our own and found entire areas that the guide didn’t even tell us about. It was a marathon day. Expect to take the full 12 hours! We had a 5 and a 6-year-old with us and they supported it quite well considering! Our team was quite nice, and did a good job. Other notes: They even had pizza for kids on the buffet which was a relief for our picky eater. The lunch stop felt like a racket. They tried to sell us a lot of stuff and had a maze we had to go through of different presentations just to get to lunch. We were there for the experience, not to buy products. The last city of Villanoid was really interesting. Not much time though. Very hot, bring lots of water.

Tourist trap. Avoid! - Very bad tour. More than a cultural trip it is a bus that takes you to Chichén Itzá where they try to sell you as many things as possible. Some notes about the tour: - our departure time changed from the one we booked via Viator. The day before the tour they sent the info for the day. It had a new time in it but there was no explicit mention to the time being changed, so keep an eye out. - The tour passed by Tulum to pick up people. The ride to the first stop was almost 3 hours and we didn't get any info until them. Nobody explained the plan for the day until a couple of hours on the bus. - The full trip is an ongoing sales pitch. Even the cultural explanations are followed by an option to buy: necklaces, drinks, astrological chart, coffee, sunscreen, bug repellent... - and the sun screen and repellent they push you to buy must be the "biodegradable" ones they sell because the main brands are not (which is a lie). They are allegedly mandatory to swim in the cenote. They even lie that to get into the cenote they might go through your bags to see if you have the right ones. But all that is just false, as when you get to the cenote you have to take a shower before getting in to remove any chemicals in your body. That was low. - the stop in Valladolid is not a touristic stop. We only stopped 25 minutes at a local shop of their convenience. In summary, avoid it if you want to have a nice experience
