Cenote Chaak Tun - Discover the mysterious Cenote underworld with our bi-lingual guides Bohish, who is one of the region’s most famous Cenote explorers and wildlife conservationists. He will safely guide you through a labyrinth of wondrous caves and rivers, while passionately sharing his knowledge about the geological phenomenon that took place millions of years ago.
In the interior of the Cenotes, millions of fossilized corals and marine animals have been found, such as prehistoric sharks, whales and even elephants and other prehistoric mammals more than 10,000 years old. The animals that are the easiest to admire without specialized equipment are those who have shells, because when they die, they tend to accumulate and degrade until compacted densely, forming what is known as a calcareous rock.
Hiking through the caverns and caves you may discover various fossils and ancient Mayan artifacts while Pako wistfully explains about their origin, and purpose, making its history come alive in your imagination.

This tour is unlike any other you’ll find. Where most tours only allot for 45 minutes, ours span 2 to 3 hours, affording ample opportunity for our guests to swim, explore, and unearth the unique features of the secluded Cenote. Our enthusiastic guide will lead you to a secluded (and privately owned) Cenote, named Sac Pool, where there will be no one else aside from your private group. If you’re interested in uncovering the hidden caves and caverns of the mystical Cenotes away from the crowds, guided by a well-informed and enthusiastic leader, we strongly recommend making a reservation for this tour now.

- Tour duration: 2 - 3 hours (whereas other tours only last 45 minutes)

- For very last minute reservations (less than 12 hours before tour): If you have not received a verbal confirmation from our reservation team, your tour will automatically be re-scheduled for the following day.
- The meeting point is at 8:00am at the Sangha-Rito restaurant, next to Starbucks in the center of Playa del Carmen. If your hotel is within Playa del Carmen we may be able to pick you up. Please contact us as soon as possible and provide us with the hotel name and room number.

The best thing I've ever done.. I can't stay talking about it. - Bosch was incredible. He was very knowledgeable kept us focused. Another thing I really enjoyed was how enthusiastic he was. He showed us things that we take for granted. He was very educated and willing to help us learn. I could have spent hours walking around with him and learning. I would give him five stars and this experience was amazing and I would suggest anybody goes to it

A must do! - Amazing tour. Very safe! Boash was a great tour guide. He told us so much information about the caves and formations. Snack could have been better. Group next to us had guacamole, wings, fresh juice. We had gross sandwiches. All in all I would definitely do it again!

Simply Magical! - This excursion was FANTASTIC. Lots of reviews said this experience was the highlight of their trip to Mexico, and our trip met that same expectation. Bohish is the most amazing guide. He was fun, entertaining, engaging, so informative and helpful. This is one trip you do not want to miss. It was simply magical!

Private Cenote Tour - Private tour in the morning was the way to go. Our guide, Bohish was engaging and informative. We enjoyed the entire cave and deep cenote by ourselves in complete peace. The staff was helpful, friendly and engaged. Highly recommended!

MAGICAL CENOTE EXPERIENCE! - Visiting this cenote was the highlight of our trip to Cancun, for sure! Bohish was and INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE guide on our private tour!!!! He is so passionate about what he does and he does it SO very well. We were entertained and educated all at the same time. We felt safe every single second while on the tour. The cenote was absolutely mystical and magical - like no other experience we have ever had. I told Bohish my knees and back were not the best, and he said "No problem! There are different routes we can go and I will take you on one that does not have a lot of bending over". The photos that were taken by Luis (I think I am remembering his name correctly) were fantastic, and such a great souvenir to remember our time there. We rented wet suits for $10 each and would highly recommend doing that. The simple but oh-so-tasty sandwiches (plus the shot of tequila!) were so welcome after all the activity we had that day! THANK YOU, Bohish. We will always remember you with fond memories for making our vacation the very best!!!

A great way to see underground cavern / cenote - I'll start like everyone else by telling you how great Bohish is. He took us expertly through the Cenote while not only entertaining us but also educating us.
I truly believe this is the best way to see a Cenote ; a guide, you and your significant other/family. We had all the time to see everything, to swim in the underground pool while surrounded by the stalagmites and stalactites.
You're cut from the rest of the world for 2 hours where you can enjoy the beauty that our planet has to offer. A wonderful experience and definitely one of the highlight of our trip.
And last but not least Mexxtremo is a small company that really deserved to get known, they put a lot of care in their tour.

Best experience ever - Bohish was the best guide ever. It was duh an amzixng experience in the jungle. Once in lifetime!!!! The cave was untouched and so gorgeous and pure. We are so glad we did this.

Nightmare - I booked a PRIVATE Cenote tour for 2. While we were out at sea, 24 hrs before and without means to receive communications, the tour was changed to add another party. We were then told we were late the following day and the tour had already departed with the other group that shouldn't have been there in the first place. We had let the tour provider know there was a possibility for us to arrive a little late in advance.
