The catamaran is based in Puerto Colon, where you will begin to enjoy a relaxing tour with food and drinks included (local products). During the trip we will see different cetaceans, such as the Bottlenose dolphin, Common dolphin, Pilot whale, but also migratory birds that live in this area, Cory’s Shearwater or Osprey, accompanied by the explanations of our guide about the most relevant aspects of the fauna and environment in which they live.
- Calle Playa de Diego Hernández - We will make a stop at Diego Hernández Bay, commonly known as Spaghetti Beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Discover the vibrant world of cetaceans aboard our Catamaran. We will navigate through the special conservation area, discovering as many species as possible, of the 28 that have been identified in this protected sanctuary. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax on board in one of our deck nets while you taste the on-board menu, prepared with local products, and enjoy the natural landscape and its fauna. If you wish, you can bring your snorkeling equipment. During the journey you will be accompanied at all times by our crew, who will not only give you safety instructions but will also explain the most relevant aspects of the area and its fauna.

Fantastic experience! - Maxitaxi has been a fantastic experience. Absolutely lovely weather, and unlimited with good drink + paella when it was served (included in price). We saw pilot whales (unfortunately not dolphins, the odds were lower). The crew was very friendly and explained what we saw along the way. We stopped for half an hour where you could swim from the boat. The boat was a little overcrowded compared to what we were told, but it went perfectly fine and you could move freely on board.
My girlfriend had her birthday that day, and the captain got everyone on a birthday song and she got a wine as a gift. All in all, this tour was worth the cost and I would recommend everyone to consider going on this activity for an optimal holiday.

Ocean and Nature not to be missed - We chose the Tuor with a time slot from 10 am to 1 pm and lunch included. On board there are several assistants who explain the excursion in Spanish and English and take you offshore where it is evident to meet whales and anke dolphins if we were lucky enough to see only whales, cmq is very fascinating and unexpected. Also in this place, on board, the adults offer paella and the children nuggets with chips provide sauces (ketchup and mayonnaise) and sandwiches in a tray where you can serve yourself as drinks offer both sangria and beer.
Afterwards before returning you move and go swimming always offshore (my husband and my 7-year-old son jumped in and enjoyed swimming.
Obviously there is to take into account that being a catamaran and being off the ocean obviously rocks both from standstill and in motion even if the condimeteo are friends.
Then always on board c is available a photographer who prints the photos he took As soon as you set foot on the cat and after you are free to choose whether to buy them or not.
However I recommend this experience because in 3 hours you do so many things and the landscape is really impressive.

Magical trip - Wonderful trip. Well organised, friendly crew, beautiful views, fantastic to see the pilot whales. Sensitively done by the crew so not to disturb the whales. Swimming off the catamaran was a great experience.

Amazing experience - An amazing experience, would highly recommend, we managed to see whales, can’t comment on the food and drink as I didn’t have any, but appeared to be a rice dish would 100% do again

Amazing catamaran trip in Tenerife - Amazing experience with my 2 daughter on the afternoon trip. Gabrielle was awesome he got me and my daughters drinks so I didn’t have to walk to get them as he saw I was struggling. I would highly recommend booking this. It was so nice and enjoyable

Good, but not as long as advertised sadly - Booked this as it was a 3 hour boat tour with the option to see whales and go swimming. Boat departed at 4:20 and arrived back at 6:15 so was less than the 3 hours we paid for and expected. Very good views of the whales, free drinks and free food, just wished it was the time it was advertised. We got no more than 5 minutes swimming in the ocean, which we was very upset with.

Whale watching - Today Mon 27 Oct 25 we went Whale watching. Was it good, well. We did see Whales!
We were told to arrive by 1230 for a boarding of 1245 to sail at 1300. Well we arrived earlier as you do, the boat was not even back and came in around 1300 before lots of people disembarked. We then boarded around 1310 but with our photos being taken that slowed boarding even more. No one kept us updated as we queued in the sun.
We eventually set sail with a busy boat. A big struggle to walk around with so many people. Once finally we got out to see we got a little brief on the plan to go out and see Whales then a swim.
People started to move around the boat freeing up room. But also blocking views. Plus beer sangria and soft drinks were flowing in paper cups. Then Whales were sighted we were asked to be quiet and not move all to one side. I didn’t some did. Lots of photos. Then more Pilot Whales and more and more, it was great to see the captain was whistling strange that seemed to help. Brilliant and hence worth 4 nearly 5 stars.
After what seemed an age we then headed indirectly to the bay for a swim. It was a loverly swim but as it was sold as scuba diving I had my mask. Well I spotted zero fish.
Would I do it again, hell yes. I Did enjoy it.

Awful staff - It's just awful, I was there today, November 3, 2025, with my husband, the staff is very rude, no pleasure, they handed out food as if I owed them something, no please, no thank you, I wasted my money and time, I don't recommend it, especially if you will be served by the staff, Molses D (captain), Roberto E, Abraham T and Laura Q
