Snorkeling, Best tour ever! - Best tour ever! I couldn't believe the wealth of wildlife just beneath the water, so close to shore. Not having been snorkeling before I was a little nervous, but Vince, our guide, was great, his enthusiasm was infectious and once in the water I felt completely safe. Excellent paddle boarding session - highly recommended - Paddle boarding session at Playa Flamingo beach was amazing. Session started promptly at 10am in a small group of just 7. Good mixture of adults and children in our group. Equipment was excellent and tuition. Session was meant to be 1.5 hours but lasted 2 hours. Instructor was so friendly and put everyone at their ease and remained with the group at all times. Would highly recommend as it was a great experience for our family. You can also come back at a later date and just hire the paddle board to practice yourself.

Wonderful holiday activity - This paddleboarding experience was so much fun! We were both total beginners, but Mara guided us through it and we were standing up and enjoying ourselves in no time. The session takes place in the Flamingo beach cove, so there were quite a lot of other swimmers and paddle boarders all around that we had to steer around - so not quite as private as we had expected from the photos but nonetheless had a blast and would absolutely do it again.

It was a nice discovery and unique experience. Mara is amazing instructor , she makes you feel confortable and secure. - I enjoy this activity a lot . The first part with paddle and the snorkeling part especially with a wonderful variety of fishes, even rays

Exciting way to see the Island. - Such an incredible experience, I was lucky enough to have Mara to myself. I have paddled before but never been confident. Mara was so gentle and encouraging I was standing up after only 30 mins. The water was beautiful and clear and we could see lots of fish, also scary crabs on the rocks! It was a really unforgettable trip.

Fantastic experience - Easy to book, good value, lots of fun The experience is ran by the Dive Centre who have a base in the grounds of H10 Timanfaya Palace. I was not staying in Playa Blanca so met Mara on the Flamingo beach (this is very easy, it's a small bay and only one person laying out boards!). Was able to store my bag at the Timanfaya Palace, though it's fine to leave non-valuables on the beach. Mara was a great teacher, got us on the boards straight away & gave lots of space for you to go at your own pace, very glad I did lessons rather than just hiring equipment as knowing how to do it properly makes it much more enjoyable! Beautiful place & experience, could have stayed all day. Contact made by Mara via Whatsapp once booked on the Viator website which was also great to know everything was confirmed.

A must try experience - Fantastic experience. Maia was very knowledgeable about the fishes we would see and an experienced paddleboarder and diver. I paddle at home, but I know that the sea can be cruel and would therefore not venture into unknown waters alone. Maia gave me confidence to go out into the ocean and understand the tides. The snorkeling was really good, this is something I haven't done for a long time and it was fabulous to see all the different fish so close. Will definitely book again next time we are in Lanzarote

Amazing views, serene - Amazing experience with our guide Mara who is very friendly and picked us up from our hotel. The guided tour was fantastic with beautiful views and felt very safe. It was my favourite part of the holiday! Lovely snorkelling at the end with lots of fish to see.

Perfect weather and a lovely afternoon. - I really enjoyed my afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a mistake on the Viator website which allowed me to book my transfer from Puerto Calero. It was only on the day of the tour I found this wasn’t possible and had to get the public bus or €60 return taxi. This was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was picked up at the bus station and taken to the sheltered beach to meet Mara. She gave clear instructions and all equipment was ready. The weather was great for paddle boarding and we went along the coast a little distance. When we returned, we did the snorkelling part of the trip and Mara explained what fish we may see and what they looked like. My only criticism was that, with 5 of us, we were not kept together and I hadn’t noticed that the others had started to return to shore. On the whole, it was a very enjoyable day which ended with me running for the bus. If you can get your own way to Playa Blanca, I’d definitely recommend.

Nice paddling and snorkeling experience - Mara was very friendly and she gave us many good info about paddling on the open ocean on our own. Snorkeling was realy great as we were able to see many different fishes. Recommend!
