As you travel to Cinque Terre, the journey unfolds like a storybook, with each village offering its own unique charm. From the historic character of Riomaggiore to the natural beauty of Vernazza, this tour is a feast for the senses. A review from April 2022 captures the essence of this experience:
Long Day Full of Fun - This was a great tour. Our tour guide, Marijana, did a fantastic job and was very knowledgeable about the areas. We took a private van to Pisa early in the morning before the crowds which was totally worth it. We then took the van to Cinque Terre. It’s a long ride so if you get car sick, I highly recommend taking some non-drowsy dramamine. We visited 4 out of the 5 villages starting with Monterosso. You get a choice of taking either the train or ferry to each little town. The villages are beautiful and full of amazing views and cool little shops and bistros. If you like old churches and forts, you will really enjoy these as well. This is a full day tour. When they say 13 hours, they mean it. You will be walking up and down a lot of hills. Also, if the weather is sunny, you should take sunscreen because you will be outside for most of the day. We were exhausted by the end of the day but were so happy to have seen everything and learned so much about the area. Also, I spotted a minor celebrity while there so who knows who you will run into.
