Great tour of Pilsen and Pilsner Urquell! - It was a great tour! Pilsen is a nice town, and we got a great sense of the city by talking to our guide Trish, who's originally from there. We originally signed up for the private tour largely because it included the brewery tour, which was sold out separately. We found that portion to be above-average interesting as far as brewery tours go, in part because of the historical nature of the building. They aren't kidding about the temperature of the cellars -- it's cold down there! The restaurant Trish chose for lunch at the end was great. We'd recommend this tour for anyone who likes good food and beer and learning about the Czech Republic!

Great Tour and Knowledgeable Guide - We only had 1 full day to spend in Pilsen so this tour seemed ideal to hit the highlights. We arrived 10 minutes early at the meeting point and our guide, Lucy, was there waiting for us. First she brought us to the city hall to show us a scale model of the city and give us an overview the history of Pilsen of what we would be seeing that day. We visited the beautiful and recently restored cathedral (tallest in the Czech Republic), two synagogues, the parks where the city wall once stood among other things. We stopped for a delicious, authentic Czech lunch with some Pilsner Urquell of course! Then on to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery where Lucy explained the history of the brewery, the brewing process, and showed us the old and new brew kettle buildings. After this we went down to the cellar and sampled some delicious open-fermented, unfiltered and un-pasteurized beer. Lucy, was engaging, answered all of our questions, and her dinner recommendation was spot on as well. Definitely recommend this tour.

A Wonderful Tour Operator and Guide - I just returned a few weeks ago from a tour to Pilsen and other areas further afield. Our tour guide, Tomas Raboch, was excellent. He was informative, enjoyable to be with, and he developed a great itinerary that matched our needs perfectly. I recommend that if you're headed to Czechia / Czech Republic you search him out

Amazing experience - My friends and I had a great time. Pilsen is such a beautiful place. Our guide was Karolina and she made the experience for us. Friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We felt like we had a local friend to show us around. We loved everything we saw. Learned a lot and asked too many questions, which Karolina graciously answered. The food was amazing and so was the beer. We liked the city part of the tour more than the brewery itself, but it was all worth it. We are all in agreement that Katolina was the reason the experience was so great for us. So thank you again Karolina, from the crazy professors :)

A Gem of a Tour - My 9 year old son and I returned from a trip to the Czech Republic as part of a larger group of college students, faculty and their family. Our tour organizer and guide, Tomas Raboch was absolutely outstanding. He planned a full tour that left us feeling like we really got our money's worth on the tour. My colleague Doc Rick explained the specifics of the trip in another post, so I won't repeat them here. I was just floored at how well run the trip was! Not only did he do a great job at the big picture, he handled the small details excellently. For example, our flight out was an early morning flight, as in super early. He had the foresight to make sure there was a small meal waiting for us at check out. He was exceptionally patient with all of our questions. Most importantly, he made my son's first experience abroad an absolutely perfect one. As much as anything, I am grateful that this experience will likely instill in my son a desire to be a world-traveler and Tomas and Pilsenjoy played no small role in making that so. For that, I'm incredibly grateful. My only recommendation is that he includes the Museum of Communism in his tour packages. Our students would have benefited greatly from its inclusion. If you haven't had a chance to visit the Czech Republic, I would highly recommend it. Karlovy Vary, Loket and Prague are indescribably beautiful. Pilsenjoy and Tomas has my highest recommendations and I couldn't be happier with the tour.

Group Visit to Pilsen and Prague - Just returned from an amazing 7 day visit to Pilsen, Prague, Karlovy Vary, Plasy and Loket. This was a group of 40 students and faculty from a small Pennsylvania College on spring break. Mr Tomas Raboch who is the owner of Pilsenjoy was a delight. He organized the entire trip including specialized trips to local industry, arranged meals, lodging, transportation and guides that met our exact needs. All went not only flawlessly but we were so impressed with the hospitality, friendliness, knowledge and flexibility of Mr. Raboch and his staff. Our trip included visits to Pilsen Urquell, Bohemia Sekt, West Bohemia University, Moser Glassworks, several private industries and of course all the great historical and cultural featuress of each city/town we visited. This was all arranged and personally guided by Mr. Raboch and his staff. It was the event of our students' lifetime. We could not have arranged anything like it without the planning and care exhibited by Pilsenjoy and Tomas Raboch. If you are thinking of a trip to the Czech Republic, you should think Pilsenjoy!

Micro-Brewery Tour - A few friends and I did a tour of local micro breweries with Pilenjoy and had an absolutely amazing time. The tour guide had extensive knowledge of beer production as well as the industry in general. The breweries that we got taken to were very local and exploring each brewery with the brewers themselves was a very unique experience. The brewers were very generous with their time and talked us through the entire brewing process. The entire tour was customized to our preferences and very accommodating to the tight time constraints of our trip. This tour is not to be missed by any beer lover and is a great alternative to some of the large breweries in town (Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus). It was also a great way to see the surrounding Pilsen countryside which is just as good as the beer.

Pilsen, modern industry and great history - As group of nine technically interested engineers we’ve booked the tour, to learn about modern brewing, but also to snuffle a little bit on the significant history of Pilsen. We were very happy to meet Veronika as tour guide. She had all the answers to our questions. With her perfect German and extensive knowledge of Pilsen’s history, we were able to gain a very good overview to all topics. Unfortunately our technical interests were not satisfied. All the lines at the brewery’s production plant did not work. Only the can filling line was running, but far away from the visitor access.
