- From the start, the show was very engaging. Actor Vinny got the crowd involved right away. Moderator made a competition between the left and the right side of the audiences. There were several moments where we were on our feet clapping cheering on the performers, but also fully engaged in immersed in the experienceI got selected to be one of the rowers later to be called on stage. The food was just “OK “but it was all you can eat buffet. The price of admission is worth it alone and the talent, the 13 different lumberjack events, both well executed and high level of talent. I would recommend the show over any second choice you might be considering well in pigeon Forge.

Good food and entertaining show. Would recommend especially if you have children - The food was excellent-pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, mac n cheese, rolls, corn and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Beverages were included which ended up being a bargain because you could refill your glass during the lumberjack show and avoid paying for additional drinks. If it’s hot outside (which it was!) don’t feel the need to be first in line to go into the show. There is plenty of good seating so wait until the gates are officially open for seating. We spent 20 minutes in the hot sun (there was no shade) to go in—If they had told us we couldn’t be seated yet, we would have waited. The show was very entertaining-they get the crowd involved and of course the kids loved that. It’s amazing the skill and strength the lumberjacks have. Look for coupons-we found them everywhere and saved you at least $3 per ticket.

Show stopping good. Tyler was awesome. - The show was amazing. Best we've seen in pigeon forge the food was just ok. Wished we could have done the show without the food.

Great Show; OK Dinner - The lumberjacks & jills gave an outstanding show with lots of audience interaction. There is a brief intermission, allowing for potty breaks and snacks without missing any of the show. The butter cream soda was unique and very good. Go Dawsons!! The food was average; with all you can eat, you’re really getting quantity over quality. Most of the food was really just warm; nothing was hot. My picky eater had a roll and mac & cheese. It would be nice if they offered a children’s option; given the location and target audience…something with chicken strips/nuggets would be great. Overall a good experience; just assume you’re paying a lot for the show. If you have picky eaters too, suggest getting something for them before you go.

What to know - Maybe the most important thing to know is to arrive early! We had reservations for the 5pm show. Arrived at 3:30 and there was already a line waiting to get in. If your tickets are purchased online through a third party you will have to go inside to get your tickets. I recommend one person going to get the tickets while the rest of your party waits in the line. (We lost our spot and had to go to the end) The line moves quickly. There are two buffets set up that contain the same items. Pulled pork, coleslaw, corn, rolls, and Mac and cheese were what we had available along with a piece of strawberry cake. Once you’ve fixed your plate you fill up your cup, grab some napkins and plastic cutlery and find a table. The seating is mostly picnic tables. There are some upstairs and down and three reserved for those with disabilities. We sat downstairs and my wife and I had a table to ourselves. There were a lot of birds flying around waiting for someone to drop a crumb. The food was good. I think comparable to any buffet food. If you’re expecting the same quality you get at Paula Deen’s restaurant you will be disappointed. Once we had eaten we waited to see the show. Seating is first come first serve in three sections of bleachers. The website says climate controlled but be aware it is outside and you will be covered but the climate control comes from 3 helicopter blade like ceiling fans. It’s still hot! Be sure to refill your drinks and take them into the show. You’re going to need them. The show was good. The kids in the audience really enjoyed it and the lumberjacks and Jill’s did a great job with audience participation. Overall it was a fun experience!

Sanitation - Offer food in a different way. Pre-packaged perhaps. It didn’t seem sanitary. Pigeons flying over us while we tried to eat.

Jailbird experiene - Shaw itself was very good. Dinner was average. Expected more with Paula Deen's name attached. Also they asked for volunteers for axe throwing to be in the show. Said must have closed toe shoes to participate. So I could not since I was wearing flip flops. Then they let a guy with a police issue ankle monitor and flip flops participate and appear in the show. Very poor of the show people to not follow the rules they established plus with a lot of children in the audience I thought it was totally inappropriate to have someone with a police ankle monitor participate.

Not the greatest - Had my parents with me they only have a couple handicap spots glad I read reviews to be a hour early to eat it’s a buffet all the food was cold not enough tables down stairs so trying to get my parents up steps to eat was ridiculous then back down to see show and the seating at show was terrible they have big pilers holding up pole barn which is fine but could only see one side of the competition because view is blocked as for the show it is good but wouldn’t go again a lot of money for food we didn’t eat

Great show…everything else, not so much. - The show itself was fantastic!! Everything else…was not. The advertising is terribly misleading - you will be OUTSIDE for the entire duration of this. There is zero climate control (read - hot). The “all you can eat”buffet is literally SIX items - roll, corn, baked beans, mac n cheese, pork, and coleslaw. You grab a plate and seat yourself at a picnic table to eat and then the sit on bleachers for the duration of the show. If you’ve been to dinner shows before just know that this is not like any of those. If you went to this when it was Dollys Lumberjack Adventure…it is night and day different so adjust your expectations.
