- Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center - Paradise is the park’s most frequented area, and for good reason. Renowned for its stunning vistas and wildflower meadows, it’s perfect for a hike and a picnic. Standing at 14,410 feet, Mount Rainier, the majestic peak of the Cascade Range in western Washington, is a remarkable sight. Surrounded by steep valleys and silt-laden rivers, this mighty volcano, with its sharp, pyramidal summit, expansive snowfields, and deep glaciers, dominates a pristine and beautiful landscape.
- Narada Falls - This enchanting waterfall, a popular attraction at Mt. Rainier, is situated on the road from Longmire to Paradise, just a mile west of the Paradise entrance. Standing 176 feet tall, the falls feature two distinct sections: the top tier, the tallest at 159 feet, is a horsetail fall, characterized by its multiple channels cascading down the rock face. Allow for 1 hour of drive time.
- Reflection Lakes - Located along Stevens Canyon Road, which is accessible to vehicles during the summer months from June to September, Reflection Lakes is a favored spot named for its lakes that mirror views of Mount Rainier. In summer, hikers must remain on trails to protect the fragile subalpine meadows surrounding the lake. Boating and fishing are not allowed in Reflection Lakes. In winter, snowshoers and hikers can still reach the area and enjoy winter camping around the snow-covered lake.
