Thank you Mery, Anna and Gianni - If you are short on time this is the best way to get a tour of Pompeii and a glimpse of Amalfi and the splendid coastline. Mery the tour guide and Anna the guide for Pompeii were simply superb giving us a lot of info while keeping it interesting with their great sense of humour... And kudos to Gianni for his awesome driving

Surprisingly entertaining - Mery was entertaining, kind, informative and had excellent recommendations for food. She always was clear on where we needed to meet up, and what time. She took care of our group the entire time. Johnny was our driver for the trip and GOODNESS gracious. He is an expert. The Amalfi coast is twisty, with very small roads and he navigated everything smoothly and safely. We were so impressed with our tour guide, Anna at Pompeii. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also, very entertaining. It was so much better than I had imagined it would be.

A wonderful experience - It was a beautiful experience, wonderful places, well organized, good transportation, good driver, a very friendly, friendly and careful guide of the whole group. I'd choose them again.

Perfect - The tour of the Amalfi Coast was wonderful. From the bus window we admired the wonderful views, listening to interesting stories from the nice guide Imma. Amalfi and Pompeii are a must see if you are going on a city break to Naples. We chose the option with lunch and it was absolutely the best culinary experience in Italy! Thank you Giusi! - Giusi was amazing! We were so worried from the start that we wouldn’t get back to the ship in time and Giusi assured us from the start that we would be back by 5pm! Giusi was very informative throughout the tour - she was full of information! She made sure to ask at every stop what we thought of the spot and how we were doing. At the end of the tour I exited the bus and she called me by name and we hugged! She knew I was anxious about our return to the ship and she got us there! I am very thankful! ❤️

Good guide, experience-rich tour - We were well received and cared for throughout the day by our good and entertaining guide, Marco. The trip was definitely worth putting off the day to. We got beautiful sightseeing photos in a row, a good lunch in Amalfi (although the price level there was expected to be slightly higher than in Naples), and an informative and exciting tour of Pompeii. Recommended!

Best option for exploring the area, fun. - We spent a wonderful day on Amalfi coast and Pompeii. This tour was a great way to explore the area. Our tour guide Francesco made the trip fun and enjoyable. Very knowledgeable trou guide on Pompeii as well. The driver did a great job keeping us safe - the roads are not easy. Good tour but we had some issues - We did this tour yesterday and it was a good tour, we had a great driver and a great tour guide, but unfortunately we lost a half hour at the beginning of the trip because the meeting point was not clear (perhaps include a map highlighting a specific meeting point for those that have trouble with written instructions). Second, we had a number of mobility challenged members in our group. I don't think its clear how much getting on and off the bus there is and how difficult Pompeii is for those with mobility issues. Great they were able to do it, but we spent a considerable amount of time stopping and waiting. Between the delay in the morning and the delays waiting for others, our time in Pompeii ended up being cut in half. Amalfi was way better than we expected, but rushing through Pompeii and all of the time spent waiting left us feeling disappointed. Still a great tour and even better if you're lucky enough to not have these issues.

An illusion of years turned into disappointment - We contract tour for up to 8 people with GetYourGuide (operated by WORLDTOURS). Here's my experience: 1.- At 13:04 the day before the visit (public holiday in Italy), we received an email that we were not picked up at the hotel (as contracted), but at a point located 5 minutes walk. Then at 15:30 we are informed in another email that instead of being a group of max. 8 people (as we had hired), we would be 18. They tell us they'll give us back the difference in price. The tour started at 08:00 the next day so we could no longer cancel it (and we were also not given the option to do so in said mail) 2 - Sitting in the minibus we change the sequence of the visits (first it was going to be the visit to Pompeia and we found out it would be Amalfi Coast). 3.- The minibus: - Awkward and narrow seats (all occupied) - The air conditioning did not work well (there were areas that came out and others did not). Temperature outside the sun (about 28 degrees) - The interior of the minibus: old, worn and with a very fair cleaning. -The ride: too fast, with many brakes and banding which made the ride very stressful. 4.- The meal included in Amalfi: two courses and dessert (water and wine). Minimum quantity, fair quality and elaboration of minimum dishes. We ordered a beer cane (off menu), and it cost us €8. 5.- The guide who accompanied us on the bus: nice and helpful. On what he explained: either there is little history to explain of this coast and its towns or, stripping away the insubstantial anecdotes of heart magazine and/or real estate manager, I was not interested in what was explained. In my humble opinion, almost all his explanations seemed insubstantial. 6 - We arrived 2.5 hours late in Pompeia on schedule (one hour after the closing of the "houses" which was at 17:00). The guide seemed upset by the delay and surely influenced the tone of the visit and its explanations (of course, always polite and correct with us). Note: if you want to see the ones in the Pompeia jewels this would not be the visit you have to hire. This one shows a tiny part of the site. Bottom line: I will not make any further visits with WORLDTOURS and, in this experience, I do not recommend it. I hope and wish that all this is just a pile of bad luck and doesn’t happen to anyone else.
