Highlights
  • Via degli Ontanelli, 13 - Hi everyone!
This is an authentic local experience that will stay in your memories forever.
You will be welcomed in the family farmhouse and after introducing ourselves over a coffee or a good glass of organic wine produced in our cellar, we will start a fun cooking class. We will start the lesson preparing the dessert: the traditional Tiramisù of the Amalfi Coast.

We will then prepare the fresh pasta and have fun kneading it with our hands: tagliatelle and ravioli.

Afterwards we will cook the food prepared during the course all together and enjoy it at the table with a good glass of wine.
All the ingredients we will use are produced on our farm in an organic way.
I wait for you!

Additional Information

Hello everyone, my name is Ferdinando, and I was born and raised in Agerola, a quaint agricultural municipality along the Amalfi Coast. Since my childhood, I’ve harboured a deep-seated love for cooking, fostered by my mother with whom I prepared authentic homemade meals based on traditional recipes of our region, using ingredients harvested from our organic garden. Our fresh pasta filled with locally-sourced cheeses, tomato sauces, and vegetables grown devoid of any pesticides are some of our specialities.

I initiated my culinary journey at the age of 13, and the apex of my fulfilment arrived when the guests relished what I had prepared and complimented that they had never savoured anything quite like it. Ten years ago, I decided to share my creativity, my love for cooking, and all the hidden gems of preparing delectable and authentic dishes through a cooking class.

I eagerly look forward to welcoming you all.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - The whole experience was wonderful. Ferdinando is super responsive via message and so lovely in person. He made our experience very fun and shared lots of information. He is a patient teacher and an exceptional chef! The pasta we made was the best we’ve ever had and Ferdinado’s wine is to die for. Grazie mille!

Fun, informative, delicious and great host. - Fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived to the end, it was great. Easy to park and Ferdinando came out to greet us as we parked. He was very friendly and welcoming. He took us inside to a dining area and served us excellent white wine and bruschetta. We chatted with two others joining the class and had fun getting to know each other. Everything we made felt simple but special enough that we can/want to make ourselves back home. Starting with limoncello tiramisu. Then we made the dough for raviolis and tagliatelle. Ferdinando explained everything in enough detail and had us do the work. Making the tagliatelle and raviolis was definitely fun. He explained and showed us the sauce making process which was neat to see. We then made mozzarella and he answered all of our questions. He then served us a nice bottle of red wine and we got to enjoy eating everything we made. Overall I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. Grazie Ferdinando!

Great Experience and a ton of fun - This class was great. Ferdinando is a likeable guy with exeptional talent. We reserved the cooking class for two as my friend and I wanted to do it. Our spouses had no interest in the cooking but enjoyed watching, drinking wine, and taking pictures. It was late in the season and it turned out that we were the only two in the class. Lots of individual hands-on making of tiramisu, pasta, ravioli, and mozzarella. The final product was delicious. The food is farm to table fresh including the mozzarella. Eggplant, peppers, and tomatos in the sauce were excellent. They sell homemade wine that is excellent at an extremely fair price. After cooking, Ferninando suggested a ten minute walk dow the road from his farmhouse for remarable views of the Amalfi Coast. They did not disappoint. One note, the place is a little difficult to find even using a GPS. As are most roads in the area, they are poorly marked and narrow. Some being one-way that aren't always the clearest. Westopped and asked in town and it seems everyone knows Ferdinando and can help with the directions. This was one of the best experiences that we have had in Italy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic cooking expereince, excellent food, excellent wine and meeting great people. Grazie mille, Feddinando!

Excellent and worth the trip - We had a great experience at this cooking class! The food was soooo good and Ferdinando was the most patient and supportive teacher. Highly recommend! Getting there from Amalfi is longer than it looks, fyi. The bus from the town center takes longer than 1hr - it looks much closer on the map! We took the 1600 Sita bus to Agerola from Amalfi center and we arrived to the farmhouse at 1715. It was an experience to be sure with the hairpin turns and elevation gain. They have friends who can give you “taxi” rides if it’s after hours after your class - much more affordable than the regular taxi route and definitely less anxiety provoking than the bus system. Definitely worth the trip, but make sure you have a plan to arrive with enough time to get there and back to where you’re staying!

Great experience! - Great experience! Ferdinando was great and was such a beautiful location with an incredible look out point not far away. We made the pasta and tiramisu ourselves but would’ve liked to have learnt about making the sauce and the ravioli filling. Otherwise was great fun and definitely recommend!

bad class - I went to this cooking class on September with my friends and we were disappointed from the lesson. It was not a quiet lesson like they said in the description, it was very noisy, there were a lot of people and there were no animals and amazing views. We came back home very sad. I cannot reccomend this lesson.
