Additional Information

For an authentic tropical rainforest experience, come and join us for a trek at Khao Phra Taew National Park, located in the center of Phuket. You can choose between a half-day and a full-day trek for a discerning adventure drive. The Khao Phra Taew National Park hosts an impressive tropical rainforest with diverse wildlife and two beautiful waterfalls. The park, despite its charm, often gets overlooked by tourists, resulting in hiking trails being plush with dense jungle. But worry not, our skilled guides will navigate you seamlessly through Phuket’s grand rainforest sanctuary, going above and beyond the park’s public accessible area. While trekking through this perpetually green forest in the heart of Phuket, you may even encounter a rare Gibbon ape as this dense forest remains Gibbons’ last natural refuge on the largest island in Thailand. Enjoy both pickup and drop-off from your hotel for smooth commuting during the tour. We limit each tour group to only 12 explorers to maintain convenience and quality.

  • Sometimes the route changes depending on the weather conditions
  • On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund

Great experience - Well planned Tour and a nice Guide. We got a lot of Background information when Walking threw the Jungle. I can recommend IT for everyone who doesn't mind sweating :)

GREAT Hike! - What a fun hike! You need to be in decent shape as there is some climbing involved, but it's not too strenuous. Our guide, Jodis, was wonderful. We had many opportunities to cool off in the water. You will get wet, wear appropriate shoes! Highly recommend, it was really a great day of exploring the beautiful rain forest with so many waterfalls!

Honeymoon Trekking - Had an incredible jungle trekking experience in Phuket with my wife. We were part of a small group led by an instructor named Pickie. Not only was he highly professional, but he also imparted valuable knowledge about the jungle and ensured our safety throughout. An added delight was the presence of a cute dog named Caw who accompanied us and looked out for any potential jungle hazards. Would highly recommend this trek for anyone who likes beautiful nature.

If you love nature just do it - I found the activity through the internet as there was nothing on the activity desks anywhere, I looked. Really happy we did it as we show the real natural Phuket. Our guide was amazing and the whole activity from star to end AAA. They gave us water fruit and snacks while in the jungle and then took us for lunch in a original Thai restaurant. Everything included the park fee was in the price. Highly recommended.

A hike worth your sweat! - Trekking the jungle in Phuket is an adventure. The nature and wildlife (mostly insects) is incredible! Waterfalls and rock pools on the route. Before you sign up, please note that fitness level MUST be moderate and no difficulties walking. Our group had to send one person back to starting point because it was too difficult to continue. The Guide was amazing! He was funny and very good at explaining how the nature unfolded during our hike.

SO WORTH IT - It was sooooo fun! Our tour guide was super funny and was very knowledgeable about everything including the plants, insects and animals. There was also a dog they brought on the hike with us named Kao and it was so cute! This hike is pretty intense so be prepared! It is well worth it with the few ponds and waterfalls that come along the way :) highly recommend!!

We liked the tour - The tour guide was very nice and funny and told a lot. Armed with a bottle of water, we went straight into the jungle. It was a good uphill climb but feasible for everyone. The shower under the waterfall is not to be missed. In between there was fruit and a snack and at the end a small lunch.

Nice guide - Very nice guide. Quite physical trekking. But doing 6km for a waterfall actually accessible by car is quite frustrating
