Request Liz! - Liz is the best! I don’t think we would have made it to the summit without her. We were all a little nervous before the scramble and with her leading the way, our confidence kicked in and we all had so much fun. It’s definitely challenging but so rewarding. We loved all of her local knowledge and fun personality too!

One to Remember!! - Excellent tour! This was are first ‘extreme’ hiking trip. Our guide, John, was extremely knowledgeable, super attentive and just an overall good dude. We’re hoping to send our adult kids on the same trip. Highly recommended!!

Best hike in Scottsdale. - Strenuous hike, but worth the effort. We spent approximately 3 hours with access from the Echo Canyon trailhead, however that included about 30 minutes at the summit. Parking at the trailhead can be challenging, and it is closed off when full.

Hiking Camelback! - We hiked Camelback with Liz today. She was patient and knowledgeable. This hike can be challenging at times, but Liz kept us on point the whole time and helped us navigate each difficult section, even when rain can in and the weather got bad. We would use this company again!!!

This is a “Must Do” with Michael! - What an awesome hike with Michael A. the best adventure guide ever! Michael treated us to information about the native plants and geography, took amazing pictures and videos of us and guided us safely up and down Camelback. This is a “must do” tour while you in Phoenix but make sure you are in shape and take water!

Soaring to New Heights with Mad Desert Trekking: A Guided Camelback Adventure with John - Excellent solo guided trek. John was professional, focussed on safety and easy to chat with along the route. He made sure I was comfortable on the trickier sections of the climb, and brought water and snacks to sustain us. Would highly recommend, especially if you are not super confident climbing up double diamond hiking routes!

Wonderful Camelback hike via Cholla route - We had a great time climbing Camelback Mountain with our guide, John. We learned from another hiker on the trail that he's actually known locally as "Camelback Santa" who climbs Camelback Mountain every Christmas dressed as Santa and gives away thousands of candy canes! He was a warm, easy-going, and knowledgeable hiking guide for this difficult climb. We found it comforting and helpful to do this hike with someone who has obviously done it so many times. When needed, he told us the best way to step, hold on, or maneuver a certain section. In addition, we learned a lot from him about the history of the area, the city, and the plants that grew along the way. He helped to make this hike a memorable experience that we highly recommend.
