Excellent Tour Guide and Informal Tour of the City - This was such a creative tour where my tour guide, Sam took me on an informal ride on his motorbike throughout many of the sites of the Phnom Penh. Instead of following a set structure, he customised the tour to fit in with what I wanted to see and do. Sam has such an uncanny ability to meet the needs of his clients helped by his intimate knowledge of the city and his connections with local businesses and people. He is a well respected person throughout the city. After being picked up at my hotel we rode to Brown Coffee, a great local cafe franchise. Brown Coffee offers all the perks of the global franchises such as Starbucks or Gloria Jeans, with great coffee and cake, lots of private ambient seating, and free wifi for those needing to get work done or just for general browsing. It really is a great alternative to the bigger known brands of cafes and best of all you will be supporting local businesses. After coffee and some relaxing conversation, we went onto the Central Markets. This really is huge and one can easily get lost without the expertise of a tour guide. Having Sam along was such a boon as I was needing to buy a new portable SSD drive and we were easily able to find within minutes with Sam's guidance. As I was also keen on the property market in Phnom Penh, we then looked at some condominiums and Sam was able to speak to some local workers to gain entry into one to look at an off the plan one bedroom unit. This was a boon seeing a showroom condo which was really luxurious at a quite affordable price. Afterwards Sam took me for a ride around the Koh Pich district where we visited some beautiful parts of the city including the Morgan Tower, which includes the highest sky bar in Phnom Penh. Overall a great informal tour. If there are places you wish to visit which are not on the agenda, you can be assured Sam will be accommodate this into your tour. You won't be disappointed.

Great way to experience local delicacies and the city - Sam’s fantastic evening food tour convinced me to book another tour with him! This great morning tour took in a local market (where we sampled local delicacies including a Cambodian ‘donut’ noum kourng), two breakfasts and coffee and some brilliant street art in a less busy suburb of Phnom Penh. Highly recommend Sam; he is knowledgeable, kind and is flexible in adapting the itinerary - eg we visited a particular temple that I was interested in. Thank you Sam!

🏵️Fantastic Tour🏵️ - Cambodia Tour Round 2! 🔸🇰🇭🌞🇰🇭🌞🇰🇭🌞🇰🇭🌞🇰🇭🔸 Thank you so much, Mr. Sam, for receiving me again and providing such fabulous tours in your city, Phnom Penh. 🌷🌷🙏🏽🌈🌈🌈 Sam has so many stories to tell and information to share about Phonm Penh city. His tours are educational, fun, interesting on so many levels and very rewarding in the end. My tour with Sam opened my eyes up to local culture, the country’s expansive history and even daily life on the rural Mekong island. 🏝️ Join this Art and Market tour to see street art, modern contemporary art, silk weaving, market shops and more. You’ll see that Sam is a friendly guy. Many communities know him and welcome him in. 🛍️🌅 I would personally recommend seeing the mermaid mural in the Starbucks shop, world famous hand designed clothes in The Raffles Hotel, The Gallery - a one room international gallery at SOFITEL, Silk Island weavers in the Mekong Island weaving community and the contemporary art galleries at the Rosewood Sky Loft. ⭐️🙏🏽🌸 For Art History buffs — the National museum is a MUST SEE!! (3+ hours for the museum itself. 🌷)
