Katie was very knowledgeable and patient. Our group was very interested in everything so it made for some discussion. I love learning about artisans in particular, so it was a real treat! I wasn't sure if you knew about Louis Kahn's association with Jersey Homesteads...was it during the same time frame as his friendship with Esherick? It was early in his career....

The site is very special, as someone said an "artistic experience " made even more special by our docent Paul. Thanks so much for a great day.

You arrive and see this rather small building.
At the end of the tour, though, you almost feel overwhelmed by all the things you saw.
Having the feeling of wanting to come back and bring along many friends who would feel just as intrigued.
Worth a trip for sure!
