Excellent way to see to the city. Very knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide and driver. - Excellent tour of the city. Knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide and driver. Gave us a 5min stop to take pics at Rocky statue. Can swap between City Sightseeing bus and Big Bus. Great value for money, and we got to see Philly when on a day trip from NYC.

A fabulous way to see the city - Excellent tour. A high recommendation to David who sold us our tickets and is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the city. We bought a two day ticket, did the full tour the first day and worked out from that what we specifically wanted to see on the second day. We also used the bus to get back to our hotel as one of the stops was conveniently close by. Also, part of the deal was that we were collected in a minibus by the lovely Denise from our hotel the second morning to take us to the beginning of the tour at the Bourse Building. We actually used the bus 3 times altogether over the two days and had a different tour guide each time. All were excellent and had their own commentary so we learnt different facts each time. However, a special shout out to guide, Matt, who was fantastic and could easily be a stand up comic!

Good intro to the city - A good way to get a brief overview of the city. Guide was friendly and humorous, but provided a ton of info very fast. Top level windows were scratched & sometimes made it tough to see.

Long waits for bus - When purchasing our tickets we were informed buses come every 30 minutes. After we had started our tour, we found out the buses were running over 45 minutes between buses, and the driver actually encouraged us not to get off st stops because of the long wait to get the next bus. Therefore, we didn't see everything we wanted to see as they were stopping the buses at 4pm. For the price we could have ubered or lyft to the sites we wanted to see quicker. And cheaper than the price of 2 tickets.

Tired of waiting - I've been on many Hop on, hop off busses around the world for the simple reason that they enable a tourist to see many of a city's highlights. In this regard, the tour in Philadelphia was good, however after buying our tickets, we waited for a bus for 45 minutes. It shoukd be 15 minutes or less.

Bad experience - The tourists were hit by the tree’s branches and the tourist guide didn’t want to explain which stop to take to get to the place I was looking for.

Not going to tour with this company again. - Several issues with this company: 1. Online ticket purchase was a waste, since you had to go to stop 1 to validate tickets before boarding. They did do a shuttle pickup when we called, after waiting 20+ minutes at one stop. 2. Frequency of buses on route was subpar. We got off at a stop to tour an attraction (stop 2) and had to walk back to stop 1 to get on a bus to complete the tour. We waited 45 minutes, called again and were told that the stop was not operating that day due to construction in the area. 3. We finally were placed on a tour bus from a competing company and that tour was nice. This company is equipped to handle a nice open air riding tour to see the sites, but the hop on and hop off feature is not viable.

Use Big Bus Tours. Please - Waited over half an hour at 10.30 am at stop 17. A bus turned up and the driver Sequaon told me the bus was full and there was another bus right behind. 40 minutes later, We walked over to stop 8 to catch another bus in a different direction. She deliberately lied to me. She knew full there was no bus "right behind me. I got on a bus a few hours later and it was her again. However the tour guide was horrendous. Every other stop he went through the exact same speel about giving him and the driver money. Literally said dead presidents. Asked for Ben Franklin's as we needed to feed Sequaons kids. I was horrified. So in future, you need to use Big Bus Tours. Please
