Don't miss unusual tour of murals in hood, wonderful guide, safe - Wonderful guide takes you out of tourist areas into black neighbor hoods to see local murals. With an academic art background, she is extremely knowledgeable. She also knows a lot about architecture and the history of the areas. You travel on buses and subway like a local and see how their public transport works. Tour feels very safe in a part of Philly that used to be jazz clubs.
