You’ll hear stories of the businesses in this area, and visit a fourth generation Italian bakery, a new-school Jewish appetizing store, and have a little time to shop in the market. Discover Delicious Treats & Fun Philly Facts - Maddie has the perfect blend of food and historical knowledge of Philly's food scene and how the neighborhoods in S. Philly evolved. Our family had a great day with her on a private tour and were surprised by each stop - some we had heard of and some we had not. There was a nice range of ethnicities in the mix and despite the cold December day, it was a nice walk around one of Philly's most iconic areas. She is a delightful tour guide and we highly recommend the Tiny Tables tour whether you're a visitor or a native!

In-depth knowledge meets great food - I've taken food tours in many cities during my global travels. Maddy's was the best one, hands down. As a journalist, she brings a depth of knowledge, storytelling, and insight to the food experiences that just made the whole experience feel culturally rich and valuable beyond the great things we ate. That said, the food was also great, and the choice of places we stopped illustrated to wide range of cuisine that defines Philly's food scene. In short, it was a great experience. Highly recommend.
