Philly must do for any foodie ! - Absolutely wonderful tour! We got to sample some amazing food, see the beautiful area of the city , learn about its history and spend the day with our lovely tour guide. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to eat well and learn!

A taste of south Italy in south Philly - Chef Jackie was great. She is very knowledgeable about Italian cuisine though this is not where her expertise ends. She is a walking encyclopedia on Italian history in south Philly. It’s lovely to watch her interact with the locals of the area which adds an air of authenticity to the tour.
We loved the tastings which were selected carefully to cater for all types of audience. We visited some really eclectic stores which enabled us to buy stuff that we would not ordinarily do at other places.
Over all a five star experience. Really appreciate having her on the tour.

Fantastic Food tour - Chef made this tour remarkable!! She covered a lot of ground in a little area. We ate, we had coffee, we learned history and all sprinkled with laughs. Excellent tour. One of my favourites to date!!

Outstanding food tour of the Italian Market - This tour was fantastic - all the food we ate was wonderful and it was great to try so many different things. Chef Jacquie was amazing, informative, energetic and full of South Philly fun facts! On any future visits to the Italian Market I'll know exactly where to go!

Perfect birthday gift for a food lover! - Jacquie greeted us a few minutes early and was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We were the only couple there due to it being Easter weekend, but she ran the tour anyway! We got the best of both worlds, as she is not only a chef but also a lifelong resident of the neighborhood. She shared so many interesting stories about the history of the foods we tried as well as the history of the neighborhood. The food was absolutely amazing! We went back to several places after the tour with our shopping bags because we wanted to bring a little bit of everything home! Parking was easy and very close. Would highly recommend!

Great Tour! - This was a great tour, Chef Jackie kept it moving at a really good pace - but also told us tons of tales of the neighborhood, history, interesting facts. And the food was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend.

A Delightful Taste of Philly - My fiance and I really enjoyed this tour. We found our guide Jacqueline to be fun and knowledgeable, and everything you'd want your food guide would be, (a proud local who is active in her community). You'll learn a little about how the Little Italy came to be and sample your way through a selection of her recommended places. We received this tour as a Christmas present, and it was the perfect way to experience Philly.
Tip: Come with a bag, as it is likely that you will want to make purchases at the places you visit.

So much fun and perfect birthday celebration! - My husband and I went on Chef Jacquie's Italian Market Dinner Tour as a birthday present. It was fabulous! The food was amazing, and Jacquie's information and stories were so engaging and interesting. We had a lot of fun, and will definitely be back for another tour with Chef Jacquie. I've been recommending this experience to my friends and family.

StrEATS of Philly Food Tour of the Italian Market is phenomenal - Jacquie's knowledge of the history and food of the Italian Market area is unparalleled, and her walking tour is informative, totally fun, and one of the best food tours I've ever taken (and I've taken, and given, a lot!). StrEATS of Philly is one of the best ways to enjoy and learn about Philadelphia food culture, and shouldn't be missed by tourists or locals. Oh, and the food we ate? DELISH!
The walking is moderate, with plenty of fun stops, so this tour can accommodate people of many fitness levels easily. A very well-designed food experience!
