I thought this was a fantastic experience. Did not know very much about Wharton Esherick prior to this visit but so glad to be introduced to him and his work. Our tour guide was most informative and able to answer any questions. So impressed by Esherick's genius in maximizing space in all of his work and his use of curves vs angles in his sculpture and architecture. No wasted space whatsever! It was a surprise to walk into the museum and see how well preserved it is and the care that is taken to protect those treasures. Hard to believe so much was contained in small spaces and how Esherick lived and improved his living space. Very valuable experience and I learned quite a bit about Wharton Esherick.
