A great time ! - A place where history comes alive! Some of the items they have on display are incredible. It’s mind-boggling that many of them have survived over 200 years let alone brought together in a single collection. Big shout out to Scott who we later found out was actually the president of the museum. He was walking around answering questions and explaining the deep history behind some of his favorite items. That’s the kind of passion you hope for in any museum you visit! Highly recommend, 10/10

Very nicely put together, interesting, and inspiring - We went on Wed Nov 22, 2023. Not sure what to expeect, and going with family who are fairly hard to please. We all had a great time. We looked around a little, then came downstairs to view the Washington War Tent. Definitely a must see, as it's got a nice story about our first president. Then we finished viewing the upstairs exhibits, and I really enjoyed how they brought the days of the Revolution alive with stories, videos, artifacts and models. I was surprised to learn quite a few new facts about the Revolution. We spent about 2 hours there, and didn't even notice the time go by. I could spent some more time there, but we had another appointment and had to leave. This is one of the places which really makes history fun. Tip: Take a picture of the program for the day at the bottom of the stairs, so you can refer to it later.

Amazing, interactive and well organized - Loved the audio guide combining the various exhibits with interesting commentary. Filled with great interactive attractions, you could spend a whole day here and still want to come back for more. This museum is an awe-inspiring look into how tough and determined our Founding Fathers and the revolutionary Americans were to break from the British empire.

Great museum, but give yourself enough time - Visited with my nephew, who has an avid interest in history. I've been to many other revolutionary war sites (Battle of Monmouth, Valley Forge, Princeton, Ferry Farm and Downtown Fredericksburg VA, Yorktown etc) and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this museum. The exhibits had a lot of details and dove into the lives of both well-known figures and lesser-known colonists. It also gave a decent amount of space to loyalists, Native Americans, and enslaved African Americans. Obviously the museum couldn't cover everything, but it did a great job with what it did. My only complaint was time; we purchased 3pm tickets online because my nephew wanted to see other sites in the morning (and we were admitted early, at 2:30) At about 4:30, exhibits started closing down. Although the museum doesn't close until 5, the employees made me feel rushed and that I should leave before that.
