This 90-minute adventure offers a different perspective on the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ in the evening, with all the attractions and landmark locations lit up under the night sky.
Departure Point: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown near Reading Terminal Market.
Departure Time: 8pm
Suggested boarding time: 7:30pm.
‘Philly by Night’ is not ‘hop-on hop-off”. Passengers will have the opportunity to climb the famous Rocky Steps at the entrance to the Museum of Art and to take pictures of the city’s nighttime skyline. Enjoy live narration from a tour guide, who will share interesting stories about one of America’s oldest cities.
Along the way, visit Penn’s Landing, South Street, the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Chinatown, the Avenue of the Arts, the Ben Franklin Parkway, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and much more.
The tour ends back at the Marriott Downtown around 9:30PM

This scenic route includes iconic landmarks like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, and incorporates a stop at the Philadelphia Art Museum’s famous ‘Rocky Steps’ for an opportunity to take a memorable photo with the beloved local champion or ascend the steps for an unparalleled view of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and City Hall. Additionally, the tour takes a journey through the age-old Society Hill and the scenic route of Penn’s Landing.

Great Evening in Philly - Great tour guide who was so enthusiastic and gave tip and history the whole 90 minutes. Awesome views from the top of the double decker bus.

Amazing - Our tour guide and bus driver were amazing! They had so much knowledge of the history and very kind. Stopping at the Rocky statue to take pictures made the experience that much more fun.

Fantastic Tour! - This tour was one of the best we have been on. Our tour guide was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and kind. I wish all tour guides spoke is clearly and new as much about their city as he does.

Very unfortunate tour…🤷🏼♀️ - I gave this two stars because we did get to see some nice sites throughout the city, and we were safely returned where we started…
But…from the very beginning of the tour, I felt like our guide was not really thrilled about having to do the tour….as though it was just a waste of his evening. There were only 18 of us; we didn’t even fill 1/4 of the bus. We, the passengers, were all upstairs in the back and the guide was in front of us w a microphone, facing forward…and we COULD NOT HEAR HIM!!! Several of us told him, repeatedly, that we couldn’t hear him…
The first time he went downstairs and adjusted something. The second time he said “I’ll talk louder”. The third time and several times after…he simply ignored us. To the point where no one was paying attention. The person across the aisle from me FELL ASLEEP!!!
I’ve been on tours like these all around the country and usually they are so enjoyable and informative! This was so very disappointing! Based on others’ reviews, I think we just got a “bad tour”🤷🏼♀️. Oh well…

Not worth it - Driver was driving too fast past the historical sites. By the time the tour guide let us know what we were looking at, the driver had already blew past the historical site so we weren't able to take pictures nor see what the tour guide was talking about. It would have been nice if the driver drove slower. It's a tour!
