We will go through the basics of creating a coffee recipe for your at-home, office, travel, or professional setting. We start from scratch and slowly build up to a final recipe by using different techniques, skills, and brewing parameters.

In this course, we’ll explore the use of manual brewing techniques with devices like the renowned cone drippers, such as the Hario V-60 and the Chemex. We also have the flexibility to work with the Aero Press, French press, and the Kalita Wave. This is an extraordinary chance for a practical and interactive coffee session.
Throughout the course, we’ll sample a variety of coffees, so gear up for an exceptional coffee tasting journey!
The course will take place at the Vamo Coffee roastery and instruction lab. The lab is equipped with professional coffee apparatus, tools, and brewing gear. Located in the heart of Philadelphia, the studio is easy to access and is a stone’s throw away from various food hotspots and attractions.
