This is not a bar hopping event, instead it’s a journey through Philadelphia’s beer production history which features beer tastings at various local microbreweries. At least 4 distinct local beers will be sampled on this tour. We’ll kick off with a robust historical background and wrap up with a focus on the beer itself, managing the beer tasting sessions throughout the tour so everyone has a safe experience. We’ll enjoy our drinks at the favorite spots of local beer enthusiasts. By the end, your knowledge will be expanded on beer, history and Philadelphia in general.

Best way to explore and taste a historic neighborhood! - This is a must-do for any Philly native or tourist who is interested in history and beer. Jonas is a terrific guide, storyteller, and cycling guru. The bikes are comfortable and easy to ride and the topography lends itself nicely to the historic and modern stops along the way. Appropriate for just about all cycling ability levels. Took a group of four and we absolutely loved it. We were also accompanied by Samantha, who added a lot of great context and ensured no water bottles were accidentally left behind. Will probably be bringing more groups back in the future!

Great tour through Philly history...and beer. - We had a great tour of Brewerytown and related areas of Philly. Our guide was knowledgeable and the day had a great pace to it. We really learned a lot about the area...and the beer. We stopped at a few breweries and got to try different local beers, which was great. This tour offers a history lesson you won't find at the liberty bell, and it will expand your understanding of Philly.
