Great food and drinks - I don't think we've ever had bad food at any hard rock cafe. However, this one was interesting in that it was never clear who our waitress was. We were seated by someone who grabbed our drinks, and then another person came over to grab us drinks, and it appeared to be confusion as to who was doing what, as they kept switching off. But I can't say that the service was bad. The drinks and the food were very good. And we found out from the gift shop person that we could have gotten 10% off our meal due to having a AA membership. Apparently they don't make it known, but if you ask for it, they will give it to you... whether its in the restaurant of the gift shop.

Fun spot, great service, decent food - My wife and I stopped in for dinner after arriving very late at our hotel. Service was amazing; Stewart made us feel right at home and we had several nice chats. Food was okay; not great. I had a burger and (very few) fries. My wife had a steak salad, which she said was good. I had a beer and she had a cocktail. Both of us got souvenir glasses. Total was $82 with tax, before tip, so pretty reasonable.

Good and fast group dinner - We brought a group of 36 (mostly kids) in at dinner time and we were in and out in less than an hour! Now, that said, we had reservations and a preset menu, but it still went incredibly smoothly. Everyone seem d to enjoy their meals, nothing too fancy, but decent meals all around.

For the experience - We went in mainly to say we went to the Philly Hard Rock. Thus is a small Hard Rock location. The drinks are good and the food is normal. They don’t have salsa which I thought was funny bc they have nachos, but the nachos were fine. The big surprise given some of the other reviews was the great service. And…it’s close to Reading Market and a Septa stop.

Good food - Great location, but like others there was a bit of a slow service. But once the food came it was amazing and the music was good. Well worth a visit if you’re a hard rock fan

Ok food, Service needs some help - We were there at an off time and were greeted and seated right away. The server took our order without writing everything down. Came back to check on something then still brought the wrong food. Send it back and confirmed yet again what I ordered. Came out piping hot, and wrong again. I chose to just eat what I was given because I was super hungry. When the bill came they left on all three entrees, including the one that was wrong. Had to wait to get it fixed. There were no other tables that they seemed to be serving at the time we were there, but they were in too much of a rush to get things right the first (or second) time.

Did Not Seem To Want Our Custom - Booked a table for 18:45 this evening and were immediately seated and given menus. A waitress said she'd be with us in a minute. 10 minutes passed and a waiter took our drink orders, of two Coke Zeros. Another waitress said she'd be with us in a minute and apologised for the delay saying she had four tables to wait on. 10 minutes passed and two sparkling waters arrived, which we had not ordered, no Coke Zeros in sight. At this point I realised this was going nowhere so we decided to leave. My son was disappointed but I explained that if a restaurant is struggling to take your order, they usually will struggle even more to get that food to you in a timely fashion.

Too many fruit flies - When you come to a restaurant or bar and see fruit flies it is a bad sign. That means the place is dirty and has the potential for cross contamination of food and drinks. It is over whelming and surprising that they have not been shut down.

DO NOT GO IN - Absolutely the worst service we have received anywhere in the US ever! Server would disappear for long periods even when there was no-one else in the restaurant. She was friendly enough but that's only half of the service. Being there to take food and drinks orders and, more importantly, when we want to pay the check! This is where the service took a massive turn for the worst. She appeared with the check and was asked if military discount was available (tip: it is - 15% on food and non-alcoholic drinks). She said she didn't know but would go and find out. Fair enough. 15 minutes later she came back to say that she'd added the discount and our credit card was taken away for payment. After 10 minutes (where we could see she was serving drinks to other customers) my wife went and spoke to a manager to complain. Their response was that the server would be "back soon". Eventually the manager appeared with the check and our card giving some rubbish excuse about a till being open for another customer so that they couldn't run our check through it. There was, in my view, at least two other tills available where payment could have been made. To add insult to injury, the military discount hadn't been added. At this point it was 2 hours since we arrived (we had a salad and dessert!) so I didn't to wait for this to be corrected. I took the discount out of the potential tip the server would have earned. This meant that I left no tip but I do not feel in any way guilty about this. I am happy to leave 18-20% tips while here in the US where the service warrants it. The server here did not. I would highly recommend that visitors only visit the shop and avoid the restaurant itself.

Dreadful service and not good food - We ate here on a recent trip to Philly and it was by far the worst meal of the whole two weeks. The waiter really didn't seem to want to serve us although he was happy to spend a great deal of time hanging round the table of two young (ish) ladies at a nearby table. The first drinks took an age and getting a refill of my soft drink proved almost impossible - it eventually came just before we finished. My husband's meal was ok but my burger had been cooked until virtually cremated and came with cold fries. The only decent part of the meal was our shared dessert but this also took an age. We definitely won't be rushing back to Hard Rock anytime soon
