As the sun rose over the lush landscapes of Phang-nga, I found myself eagerly anticipating a day of culinary exploration. My husband and I had decided to take a break from our usual RV travels across the American Midwest to experience something entirely different—a Thai cooking class with the renowned Chef Wandee. The promise of learning traditional Thai cooking techniques in an open-air kitchen was too enticing to resist.

Our day began with a comfortable pick-up from our hotel, a service that reminded me of the warm hospitality often found in small-town diners back home. We were whisked away to a bustling local market, a vibrant tapestry of colors and aromas.
