• Imperial Museum - Also referred to as the Imperial Palace, this Historical-Thematic museum is situated in the historic center of Petrópolis. Its collection is organized into various spaces: dining room, music room, state hall, Dom Pedro II Office, princesses’ room, and empress’s visiting room.
• Catedral de Sao Pedro de Alcantara - Dedicated to Brazil’s patron saint, the cathedral of Petrópolis is among the most significant neo-Gothic structures in the country. Designed in the late 19th century, this church is renowned for its stunning facade and numerous intricate stained glass windows.
• Museu Casa de Santos Dumont - Also known as “A Encantada,” the summer residence of the aviation pioneer features unique elements, including one of his latest inventions, a hot water shower, and an external staircase that requires starting with the right leg.
