Great tour with a great tour guide! Highly recommend taking the tour with Nunu. - This was a great tour and we really enjoyed the experience. We had a great tour guide named Nunu Pires and we highly recommend him. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating.
The region is about 2 hours from Porto so it is a far but beautiful drive. The first wine tasting was at a small family owned winery named Casa Do Poco and this was definitely our favorite part of the whole experience. Afterwards we had lunch at an amazing restaurant called Cacho d’Oiro.
Following lunch we went on a boat ride that was a bit crowded and our least favorite part of the tour. The last stop was another winery which was beautiful and the drink we tried was great.
Overall it was a great tour but if we could have we would have replaced the boat tour with another stop at a small family owned winery.

Private Douro Valley and vineyard tour - We saw a beautiful vineyard, ate amazing local food, boated down the Douro River, saw local sights and amazing views and finished with a refreshing drink with port in it.

An informative and comfortable way to see the Douro Valley. - Francisco was our driver and guide. He combined a thoroughly informative commentary with music appropriate to particular parts of the tour. The Douro Valley is spectacular, and he knew where to go for optimum enjoyment. We had some excellent wine, and food, and came away feeling it was time and money well spent. Thank you Francisco!

An amazing day in the Douro! - Tiago was an amazing tour guide - he was very informative about the local culture, Portugal’s history and a wealth of knowledge bringing our Douro Valley Tour to life. We toured 2 local family owned wineries, went on a boat ride and had an authentic lunch at a small, family owned restaurant in the heart a quaint, small town - all amazingly fun and memorable. Awesome day, amazing guide and truly a wonderful day!!!

Highly recommend! - What an amazing experience! Thiago was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was so knowledgeable and fun. His personal experience and his understanding of the history of Portuguese wine and food was unparalleled. Each stop was meaningful and well thought out. It was relaxing not to have to drive and to be entertained and educated along the way. We especially enjoyed the delicious authentic family style lunch. We loved everything about the tour and would highly recommend!

Simply amazing! - My wife and I had an absolute blast on our tour of Porto with Tania! Tania made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable the entire time. She took the time to show us around and gave amazing restaurant recommendations. She even dropped us off at a separate location we wanted to see in the city. We highly recommend going to Porto and booking a tour specifically with Tania! She is one of the best in the business!

Lovely Day Exploring the Douro Valley - We had an incredible day in the Douro Valley with Nuno as our guide. We brought our 3 year old and 11 month old and Nuno was so kind and helpful. He shared many pieces of valuable information and really took the time to help us get to experience the area. Each stop was lovely. After taking many full day tours across the world, I would highly recommend this tour and Nuno.

Wonderful Douro Valley! - Fabulous tour in the Douro Valley, splendid landscapes, meetings with people full of authenticity, very good meals and beautiful wine tastings. Our guide Sofia was absolutely perfect, attentive to our needs, very enthusiastic and knew how to convey to us the love of her country and her city Porto. We definitely recommend this tour!
