Fantastic day trip - Did the easrly star Rainbow Mountain with Rainbow Mountain Expeditions, who I wouldn't hesitate to use again. All the communication up to the trip was first class We had a fantastic day and Alex was brilliant as a guide Informative and fun. We were worried that the weather was going to spoil it but Alex urged patience (others were heading down after seeing nothing but cloud), and after an offering to Pacha Mama the clouds cleared for a great view. Highly recommend and ask for Alex

Highly recommend - Our objective was to see Rainbow Mountain by making the hike up to it and we booked this trip after reviewing others on offer because of its great reviews. Urbano, our guide and owner of the company, is very experienced and had a 100% track record of getting everyone to the top. We were a group of 3 adults, ages 65-70, with sufficient fitness levels to do the walking, however, we didn’t know how our bodies would handle the elevation. Urbano coached us through it with confidence and ease, in his low-key manner, adjusting his recommendations to suit each person. We all made it! And it was felt like such an accomplishment. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you want to challenge yourself, do it with Urbano.

An unforgettable day at rainbow mountain with Vidal Expeditions and Urbano. - If you’re considering a Rainbow Mountain trek, stop searching—Vidal Expeditions is the one. From the pre-hike meeting to the final summit view, every detail was thoughtful and professional. Our guide, Urbano, brought the experience to life with rich history, constant encouragement, and a great overall vibe. Altitude is no joke—but Vidal takes it seriously. They carry oxygen in case anyone needs it, offer a thorough prep session the day before, ensure you eat before the hike, and build in snack and bathroom breaks to help you acclimate. Safety was clearly a top priority, without ever compromising the fun or adventure. The scenery was incredible, and Urbano knew exactly where to stop for the best photos. Bonus tip: if you’ve got anything left in the tank after Rainbow Mountain, don’t miss Red Valley—it’s surreal and peaceful. You’ll be so glad you chose to add it on! Huge thanks to Urbano for motivating us through the toughest parts. I was ready to give up more than once, but his encouragement and support got me to the top—and it was so worth it. The whole experience was unforgettable and a highlight of my Peru adventure with my friends.

Amazing experience - We had an amazing experience with Vidal Expeditions for our trip to Rainbow Mountain! From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive—answering all of our questions quickly and thoroughly before we booked. Our guide was Urbano—he met with us the day before the tour to walk us through what to expect, which really helped us feel prepared and confident. During the tour, he was professional, knowledgeable, and well-equipped. He also brought oxygen just in case anyone needed it due to the altitude, which gave us peace of mind. Throughout the hike, he shared interesting background information of the area. He also knew the best spots to take stunning photos—our pictures turned out beautifully! I highly recommend Vidal Expeditions to anyone planning a visit to Rainbow Mountain. PS. Do the Red Valley!

Once-in-a-lifetime Experience - Wow! I can't believe what an incredible experience my friends and I were able to have. Urbano was amazing! He met with us before the trip to ensure we were prepared, was so patient and helpful during the trek, and continually motivating us the entire way. He also took beautiful photos so we could really enjoy the experience and stunning scenery. It was one of the most challenging excursions I've ever embarked on, but Vidal Expeditions were organized, professional, and made the entire experience amazing and memorable. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life!!!

Rainbow Mountain Day Tour! - We had a great time exploring the Mountain of Seven Colors with our guide Luis, it was a wonderful adventure. We departed early from Cusco to beat the crowds and be super lucky with the weather. The company included everything for our trip, from pick-up from the hotel to the entrance fee. The entire meal and guide were great. I highly recommend going early to avoid the large groups; we had such a great time arriving early and got better views of the mountain and the Red Valley. Thank you Vidal Expeditions and Luis for a memorable tour.

Wonderful tour! - We had a wonderful time hiking rainbow mountain with Urbano. All the mountains in the area are beautiful with unique colors and the views as you hike up are stunning. I struggled with the altitude and Urbano was so patient and kind. We definitely recommend doing this tour especially with our friend Urbano!!!

Must do in Peru - Lovely tour - arrived early in the morning to beat some of the crowds. Our guide and driver were awesome! Must do activity when in Cusco, it’s the most beautiful place.
