Extra attention to detail makes the experience memorable. - Staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we checked in until we stepped out in Macchu Picchu station. Little things like tea and snacks in the comfortable waiting areas made it a wonderful experience we will recommend to others.

Disappointed - My husband, son and I were scheduled to take the Inca Rail on May 13 from Cusco. We stopped in on the 12h to confirm our tickets and to see where we needed to load the bus. This is where we found out that the train wouldn’t be running that day due to a strike by the farmers. We needed to change our plans but unfortunately we didn’t have enough notice to cancel our hotel in Cusco and then had to find one for an additional night in Aguas Calientes. An additional cost to our trip that we weren’t planning. We also had to change trains from the 360 to Voyageur with only a $21 refund. On our return trip we were able to leave 3 hours earlier than planned but were charged $150 for the difference. Overall, we were disappointed in the Inca Rail policy and will recommend PeruRail to our traveling friends.

Horrible - We have purchased a round trip for about 150 dollars each. The show promised was just two people dressed up and walking along the aisle. We were stock in the train station at Aguascalientes until 1 am (our train was supposed to leave at 7), because the other company’s train broke down. We arrived back to Cusco the next day at 6:30 am. From 7pm to 6;30 am the company offered us only a cup of tea or coffe. We asked for food or either water since there was nothing around where we could purchase such items (only one bar that quickly run out of things and it was insanely expensive) and we were denied. Once back we asked for a compensation since we lost a tour given that we came back the next day, and were denied because “we did what it was possible”. They did not even offered us water or snacks in about 10 hours, and we spent 150 dollars each! This does not look “the possible”. Strongly reccomand to use the other company - half of the price and same experience in the end
