Highlights
- Laguna Churup - We depart from the city of Huaraz towards Pitec (3850 meters above sea level), where we are greeted with a sweeping view of the Cordillera Blanca’s southern expanse. From Pitec, we commence our trek. Following roughly 3 hours of hiking, we reach the Churup Lagoon at an elevation of 4450 meters above sea level. Here, we’ll spend around an hour for photography, exploring the perimeter of the lagoon, before making our way back to Huaraz.
