A great day out. - A very enjoyable day out. The minibus was very comfortable and Paul always made sure the aircon was on 10 minutes before we got back in. The two wineries were very interesting and there was a large variety of tastings included at both.Lunch was very nice, with plenty to go round. Cider is not my thing but again a great tasting paddle in a lovely setting. The distillery tour was also very interesting and included generous tastings. It was lovely to go to an area of Perth, that we seldom visit and see some very pretty countryside. I would highly recommend this tour, and special thanks to Paul who was very knowledgeable about the area and Perth in general.

Great experience 👍 - I greatly enjoyed. I was the only solo person but I didn't feel left out at all. It was informative and a great experience. I bought several wines and whiskey. I will be going back to the winery's for meals and the amazing atmosphere.

Great Day Out - Brilliantly Organised - Shannon the Tour Operator is amazing, very organised and tending to our needs before we realised we had any. The Cellar Door Managers of the two vineyards where very well informed and gave an extremely coherent rundown of the wines we were tasting. Our lunch was plentiful and very tasty. The Cidery Manager gave a full rundown of the variety of ciders available. The final stop at the Whiskey Distillery was very interesting as we learned the ways of making whisky as well as tasting the various stages of the process. A great day out, brilliantly organsied and we recommend the tour without hesitation.

A day out in the Perth hills - Informative tour with excellent transport. Paul was a very good host and provided background information on venues visited. The lunch provided was ample and quality first class. Would not hesitate to recommend this company

The Swan Valley tour - Amazing day, and service with Shannon. Everyone of the group, yes only 6 of us, had a great day of touring the Swan Valley enjoying the wine tasting and more, also avoiding the big bus loads.
No beer or chocolates either.

Highly recommend - Communication with up close and local tours was great, they were very accomodating. Paul was super friendly and a great guide. The venues visited were beautiful and provided intimate tours/tastings with loads of interesting information and generous tastings. We didn't feel rushed at any of the venues and lunch provided was delicious. Fantastic great value day out. We hope to come back to check out some of the other tours on offer.

"You Will Love This Tour" - The Full-Day Premium Cider, Wine & Whiskey Tour is a fabulous way to spend a day to experience the picturesque Bickley Valley. The choice of wineries, cidery and distillery were all exceptional. Our host Shannon was a wealth of knowledge and certainly made this experience memorable. 5 stars from us, we could not recommend Up Close and Local Tours highly enough. Thanks for a wonderful day.

Up Close and Local Tours - Communication by Up Close and Local Tours was excellent, especially as we had to rearrange our booking twice. Shannon was a great guide and has obviously put in the hard yards to learn a great deal about the Bickley Valley. The tour itself provided stunning views, an informative and educational walk through one winery and some great food. The distillery tour was fabulous!

Loved this tour - The Bickley Valley is such a great day out in Perth and I loved the venues, some of which we'd never been to before. Paul was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable and I would recommend this tour for a great day out. Lots of wine and lols, great value for money.
