Excellent local private wine tour - Excellent private local tour of 3 wineries and a cider making site in the lovelyBuckley Valley area with very knowledgeable guide who knows the local scene well. Lovely cheese platter lunch on terrace. If you have a Friday free you should do this!

Terrific Tour - We had an incredible day with Paul. He showed us some hidden gems in Bickley Valley and was knowledgeable and a great guide. We really enjoyed the family wineries and loved meeting the teams that make the magic happen 🍷🍇Great day out for our small group.

What a great afternoon out in the Bickley Valley - Do yourself a favour and book a tour with Up Close and Local tours, Paul picked us up from the departure point on time and proceeded on our tour. Paul was extremely knowledgeable on the area and the wineries. The wineries and the Cider place we visited were a very good choice. The winery owners explained about their wines and the history of their cellar door, we learnt quite a lot about the wines from the Bickley Valley. We had an amazing afternoon out. Fantastic venue, great service, food and amenities. - This was a Christmas gift from our sons, it was a great tour, Paul was fantastic and an excellent tour guide. Every venue was interesting and the sampling was more than you could wish for. Catering at lunch was able to fill dietry requirements where needed. Although we are not whiskey drinkers the final stop at the Whipper Snapper Distillery was very interesting and I learnt a lot. My wife has had two knee replacements and handled the day very well . The tour group is very small around 10 -12 people which makes it a friendly day. I would highly recommend this tour for those looking for something different and fun. I took lots of photos ,however they are all on my phone.

We’ll worthwhile - Loved every minute of this tour. Great people, knowledgeable guides and many great memories. It was somewhat annoying to sit at the back of the bus where the company’s promotional sticker degraded the view. Like looking through a shower curtain. Apart from that, this tour comes highly recommended.

A great way to experience the delights of Bickley Valley , and enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon. - Shannon was a fantastic tour guide - very well informed about the region , the wine , cider and local produce , as well as being very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humour . The van we were transported in was ultra modern and felt luxurious . As this was a small group tour it felt like a private tour and the itinerary that had been chosen was amazing - no big tour busses ! Shannon appeared to have a close professional relationship with the staff at each venue , which added value to our tour. I highly recommend a tour with Shannon and we will definitely repeat the experience on one of their other tours .

Best wine tour ever! - A friend and I celebrated her birthday in the Bickley Valley with a half day wine tour. This was the best wine tour I’ve been on! We both loved that while we tasted a lot of wines (and cider!) and went to such a beautiful selection of places the pace was set so that we really got to enjoy the tastings and the surroundings. It was perfectly timed and so much fun! Paul was a brilliant host with a great way of chatting to each person on the tour. He also knows his wines and gave such interesting information which really added to the experience. Shannon was so lovely to deal with when organising pick ups and details. If you are looking for an amazing day or afternoon out I would highly recommend them! I’m excited to hear more about their personalised tours and we are definitely going back to do the gingerbread tour! Thanks for a wonderful day!
