Totally beyond our expectations - As a married couple celebrating a 70th birthday, we booked this tour not knowing what to expect. All we can say is WOW. Our tour guide driver Keith was more than willing to take us wherever we wanted, including tracing personal heritage sites. We circled the whole country of Scotland, and saw and learned so much. The best Scotland has to offer! - Undoubtedly, the best part of our tour was the personal tour guide Keith O'Rourke! Keith was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful during the days we spent with him. His driving put our entire group at ease and helped us to enjoy the scenic vistas throughout the Highlands. His knowledge of the the history, topography, and local attractions was amazing. His vehicle was very nicely equipped and impeccably clean, his appearance each day in the traditional kilt only increased our immersion into the wonderful culture that is Scotland. Keith was very receptive to any desires outside of the scheduled events and filled in down time with enjoyable activities and dining options. Tour Scotland with a charming expert! - This was the absolute best! From the moment Angus MacLean picked us up at our hotel, bedecked oh his full on Scottish dress kilt and accessories, to the very sad moment when he had to leave us 5 days later, we had a marvelous time. Unforgettable adventure! - Where do I begin to describe the wonderful experience we had on our 6-day private tour of the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye? Our guide, Angus McLean, seemed to know every scenic spot in the country: out-of-the-way scenic waterfalls, seemingly impossible-to-find ancient standing stones and many, many incredibly beautiful views of the lochs and mountains. We were looking for a tour of Scotland that would take us off the beaten path, and Gus delivered that for us.
