Great chance to try climbing in Crete with excellent guide - I had a great day climbing with Georgios at Therisos gorge. He was such a professional climbing guide, knowing all about routes there and always putting safety of the customer first, and last but not least an awesome guy, a great companion for the day. I can highly recommend to anyone who wants to try out local climbing when visiting Crete!

The best guide and the best day out. - We had the best day out with Georgios. From the very start at the meeting point he was extremely welcoming and made us feel at ease as it was our first time outdoor climbing. We headed up to the first sector for climbing and his attention to detail was excellent. Both my partner and I had climbed indoor before but not for a while. Georgios went through everything again with us and and shared his excellent knowledge. We stopped for some authentic Greek snacks that he had brought along after the first sector of climbing to refuel. The small sweet cheese cakes 10/10. The next sector of climbing was more challenging but again we were made to feel at ease and pushed ourselves. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone. We will definitely come again when we come back.

Fun experience you won't regret! - This was one of my favorite experiences of my whole trip! The guide, George, was very knowledgeable about the area and always made sure that my friend and I were safe. He took us to spots to climb that went well with our abilities and encouraged me to do my first lead climb and I'm so glad I did! If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be booking again.

THE BEST! - A day before our departure we were allowed to climb in a beautiful area between the mountains. With George as our Climbing Guide. We experienced him as a pleasant and nice person to spend the day with. And he made us feel safe climbing. There was something to climb for everyone, both advanced and beginners. And he brought tasty snacks from the bakery. We had a great day. Great, Bravo!! Definitely recommended if you are in the area and you won't regret it.

Incredible climbing experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - An amazing day of climbing with gorgeous views! George is very friendly and an excellent teacher with detailed knowledge of the area. He was able to cater to our abilities and we felt very safe even on challenging climbs. We climbed across two sectors with a snack/coffee break in a nearby village. Thank you for a unique and memorable experience!

Climbing with Georges - My boys aged 16 and 13 really wanted to go climbing in Crete. We all had a brilliant day with Georges, he taught them essential as skills throughout the day which will be valuable to them in the future. He also ensured their safety at all times. The boys have told me it was their favourite day of the holiday and are planning another trip to Crete and day with Georges for next year. Highly recommend

Better than we could have ever asked for - Amazing trip! First time climbing outdoors so I was very nervous, but he was able to walk us through everything and re-assure us the entire time. George (sorry if im spelling your name wrong) was an amazing guide, and it truly felt like we were climbing with a close friend. 100% recommend to anyone who wants to climb in Crete no matter your skill level. Great climbing experience with a competent guide in an amazing environment - Perfect climbing experience with a very competent guide! I was the only participant and spent almost 6 hours in the gorge so there was a lot of time for technique training and a lot of routes. I brought only my chalk bag and climbing shoes while the guide brought all other equipment. We did both top rope and lead climbing at two different, beautiful climbing spots in the gorge. Both offer routes for beginners and more experienced climbers.

The best climbing guide! - Had such a great time! Felt safe (well, as safe as can be when lead climbing haha), comfortable and really felt I could push myself but also have fun on the crags. George was the perfect guide for my friend and I, he was very knowledgeable of the area and had a holiarious sense of humour!

George of the Gorge - George was the best climbing guide I've had! He was very knowledgeable of the area, the routes and he was very charismatic and funny (which made the day such a blast!). He gave some great advice on the mental aspect of climbing as well which I thought was very insightful! 10/10 would reccomend and go back again!
