Called a “hallmark of Greenpoint” is this “old-timey” Manhattan Avenue shop that’s been selling “cheap”, “delicious” donuts in a “crazy” array of flavors for more than six decades. Either way, beware, these donuts are addictive!

      • Take a stroll down to Manhattan Avenue. Manhattan Avenue is the main street in Greenpoint. Greenpoint holds the second largest concentration of Polish immigrants in the United States. There are a number of polish bakeries, meat markets, specialty shops and restaurants that surround Manhattan Avenue.

        In addition, Just take a walk around some of the landmarked streets with names like India and Java. Check out beautiful Guernsey Street, between Meserole and Norman Avenues.

      • The park includes an overlook to the south, seating, and a waterfront esplanade. The center of the park includes a large, open lawn with a separate children’s play area featuring a nautical theme to reflect the site’s context. It also includes a spray shower and nature gardens. A pedestrian bridge has been restored as a wetland accessible to visitors. At the end of Kent Street is a recreational pier, featuring opportunities for fishing and a view of the Manhattan skyline and East River.
