Schweinfurt’s farmers’ market draws farmers and local growers from within the region. Vendors sell a variety of fruit, vegetables, flowers and whatever is in season. Eggs, cheeses and meats are also typically available. The open-air market is located in the center square at the Marktplatz near the town hall, known as the Rathaus, and the restaurant Aposto. The weekly markets take place every Tuesday & Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays & Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
