Perfect experience, exceeded my expectations - We had the best experience you can have and the best, Ines! Boutique winery in Lampe Valley, Chile’s red wine region - The winery is located in the Lampe Valley, a key red wine producing area in Chile. It is small in scope but has beautiful scenery. The fine wine produced is different from the common flavors on the market. It uses a single variety of Cabernet and has a very smooth taste, which is worth savoring. We booked an outdoor BBQ at the winery that day and had a very enjoyable day.

A must if you are in the area - We really enjoyed the small, family-run wine tour at the Encierra winery: the passion for wine and new, original creations was palpable and visible in everyone's enthusiasm! We have great respect for the work that goes into making the great wine. Ines, who leads the tours, lives the family history as if it were her own and knows a lot. All in all, it was one of the best wine tours ever - and we compare it internationally! We were impressed by the enthusiasm and passion as well as the quality of the wines - we can wholeheartedly recommend the tour.

The good stuff....in a small package - As many of you know, the Colchagua Valley has many vineyards and vineyards, among which the most named is of course the Viña Santa Cruz, from Cardoen, whose relevance stands out not only for its extension but for the services it offers in their tourist tours. But if you are looking for a more personal and truly close experience, Viña Encierra is the best option. The extent of the vineyard is such that, without prejudice to its good production, it can and is worth exploring in part on foot. In fact, the place and its surroundings require a pedestrian tour, because only then can the views of this part of the Colchagua Valley, Peralillo, on the way to the coast, enter your heart through your eyes. The place itself was a very pleasant surprise, but this was emphasized by the kind and gentle company of the hostess, Doña Inés Patrón, who not only manages to take us among the vineyards, but also makes the visit instructive and pleasant. telling both about the origins of this vineyard and its connection with the ancient founding families of wine production, as well as the wine production process in the varieties they work with. The visit concluded with a wine tasting and its accompanying cheese board. But I think that the best accompaniment to good musts was cultured and pleasant conversation, like in the old days of inns and sales. Yes....good things come in small packages. So go with the confidence of enjoying the time and the good wines.

Lovely experience and host - Lovely time spent in the estate. Very nice to be able to use their bikes and cycle around the estate. Thanks to ines for her taking the time to show us the estate, share information on the history of the estate and shed lights in the wine making process. Also felt quite privileged to taste sugary wine directly from the barrel. Very intimate and cosy experience.
