Wonderful - highly recommended! Great guide - A really wonderful morning which we highly recommended. Cousino Macul is an easy Uber journey from the centre of Santiago and a very beautiful place to visit with wonderful views of the mountains and the city. Our guide Tiago was excellent and it was fascinating to hear the story of this historic vineyard. Great too to taste the wines and identify how the taste changes when eaten with different foods. Everything was done to the highest standard

Great winery close to Santiago - Lovely winery and delicious wines - had it as part of our tour of Santiago. The tour guide spoke wonderful English and was very thorough. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed sampling all their wines. We have been to many wineries in the US, Argentina and France and this is up there with them.

Wonderful tour of Cousiño Macul Winery - Our visit to Cousiño Macul was beyond excellent. We had originally opted for the traditional tour but changed to the premium once there, and were very glad we did (see below). The traditional tour was with a wonderful guide (Janice) who knew everything about the winery and its long history and was happy to spend quite a bit of extra time talking about Chilean food and traditions. We were lucky to be in a small group (3) so there was plenty of time to talk! Once the traditional tour was over, my wife and I were in for the great treat of tasting 3 of Cousiño Macul's premium wines: two from their "Finis Terrae" line (the first was an incredible white wine made from a blend of Chardonnay, Riesling and Viogner, the other a striking red blend), the third bottle was from their a collection simply called "W" an amazing Cabernet Sauvignon. What made this part of the tour so rewarding was our "guide" through the tasting, Frederico (I'm sorry of I got the name wrong, it might have been Federico). Frederico knew everything there was to know about the wines, the grapes, labor and love that had gone into making them. he helped us puzzle our way through the rich tastes of these wines intelligently and with a subtle sense of humor and pride in Chile's wines that left a deep impression on us. As a trained sommelier and aspiring oenologist, we could not have asked for a better guide. Thank you to Janice, Frederico and Cousiño Macul for one of the most memorable experiences during our one-month stay in Santiago. On the practical side, if you are visiting in February go for the early tour (10am) before the afternoon heat sets in!

Friendly and knowledgeable tour guides - Great wine tour at one of the oldest vineyards in Chile and the only one still within the Santiago city limits. The English speaking tour guide Janice was really incredible at teaching the history of the family and the winery and teaching about tasting notes in the premium tasting experience. If you like wine definitely do the premium tour instead of the regular tour, you get three extra wines that are higher tier and snacks to pair along with them. Janice helped us see what tasting notes we could find in each wine and how wines changed depending on what food you paired them with. The first three wines on the tour were okay, but the last three in the premium experience were great and not ones you can find in the supermarket in Santiago. Definitely a good tour for a “classic” Chilean vineyard

Great winery to visit while exploring Santiago - Awesome winery tour in Santiago. We were able to uber to the winery from our hotel without a problem (40min away). We selected Spanish while booking, but at the time of tour were able to join a English group which worked out great as that is our native language. Neat history and awesome winery to check out if visiting Santiago!

Well-organized and informative tour - Our guide, Valentina, was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the vineyard and it's history which highly enriched our experience. Very good communication in English. She was also always able to answer extra questions during the tour. We got to taste 5 different wines during the tour plus four more during the degustation part which Valentina also guided very well. All in all I high recommend and trust it is worth the investment.
