5 star experience! - We had such a lovely time visiting Andean Colors. Paolita and Marcos took their time in explaining everything to us as we walked through the process of washing, spinning, and dying natural fibers. We got to start with feeding the llamas and alpacas, and ended with a delicious home cooked meal. We were especially touched by the organization’s goal to employ single mothers. They sent us home with bracelets that we weaved ourselves and the yarn that we had dyed. Would recommend to anyone!

Must do experience! - Better than what you could have imagined. Always a great start to see llamas and alpacas but everything that followed from the instruction and hands on experience was well planned, well explained, and fun. Thank you so much Marco and Paola!

Great experience to learn from local how to make their unique Inca textile - We were glad that our driver made a stop here during our Sacred Valley trip. We met Lizbeth and she gave us knowledge about hows the process of making the Inca textile. It was incredible that all materials are coming from nature and every single pattern they made have all beautiful meaning. In there you can buy their handmade textile with reasonable price too

Heartwarming Textiles Experience! - Our visit to Andean Colors was great! We got a full hands-on textile workshop—starting with walking and feeding the absolutely adorable llamas and alpacas, which was such a fun experience. We then learned all about traditional Andean dyeing techniques, using natural dyes, spinning yarn, and we even got to make our own bracelets to take home. Marco and Paola were incredible hosts—so kind, welcoming, and patient throughout the whole workshop. At the end of our workshop, we were served a delicious homemade lunch, surrounded by stunning views and a peaceful environment. This was such a beautiful and meaningful experience— especially because Andean Colors supports and empowers single mothers through their work. We’d highly recommend this experience!

Must do experience in Peru - Myself and my mother had the pleasure of joining Marco and his wonderful team on our first day in Peru. It was an absolutely wonderful welcome into the country. The environment was absolutely stunning and we learned so much in the interactive portion dealing with the textiles and dyeing. The message behind what Andean colors is trying to do for the women of Peru is also amazing. Plus we got to feed alpacas and llamas! Highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Highlight of our trip to the Cusco Region - Just book it!! One of the coolest most interesting experiences. We did it with our kids (9 year old twins) and we all loved it. We learned so much and really got to appreciate the skills that go into natural dying, making yarn and weaving in the most beautiful setting. It’s one of those experiences that I know we will be talking about for years to come. Both the adults and kids absolutely loved it!!!

What a fun day! - I really enjoyed my experience at Andean Colors. Not only do you learn the process, but they take you through every step so you can try it yourself. I was by myself and they still ran the tour which I appreciate. Marco helped me get a driver, although he said others take the local bus. Overall it was great and you should add this to your itinerary!
