Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi Airport; cost for transfers Aug 2022 - Having been ripped off by GRAB cars on the way down to Pattaya, I decided to explore the options of going back to the airport using alternate services. If you stop a taxi on the street to book them then they'll just try to get as much as they can. And why not? Like most of SE Asia, there are literally taxi and private car booking stands on the street every 50m in the main tourist area. So the costs are as follows: Standard Taxi - 1,000 baht flat fee from your hotel to the airport. I'm sitting in one now; the driver arrived early, is polite and the car is air conditioned. You could use this for up to 2 people (if you don't overload luggage). I'm in a Prius and they could be like this or a Camry. You'll see the taxis everywhere so you'll know what they're like. Private Taxi - same as above but 1,200 baht inclining tolls. For larger taxis and private cars expect to pay up to 500 baht more. It doesn't matter how many people are travelling.
