The local village is our first halt, where you can pay a visit to the traditional bakery which is a rare opportunity, to appreciate Georgian staple cheese and bread – Shoti. Subsequently, we visit the top attractions of Kakheti like Sighnaghi – renowned as the City of Love, and the scenic Bodbe nunnery. As expected, more wine is ushered in towards the end of the tour with visits to two of Georgia’s reputed wineries – Khareba and Kindzmarauli, where you not only sample various Georgian wines, but also tour the wineries and learn about Georgian wine culture and customs.
