Monet established his home in Giverny in 1883. He ceaselessly transformed an overlooked property into a botanical masterpiece, the muse for numerous of his finest artworks. An artist in his garden, Monet was also an artist globally, and embarked on lengthy painting excursions. Yet he was never truly far. Via his correspondence, he kept a watchful eye on his kin and his blooms. The routine calls from his friends and admirers made Giverny the focal point of his life. Until he passed on in 1926, the artist, the patriarch, the landscaper, and the gentleman forever stayed in Giverny.

He had a fervent passion for both gardening and colours, and he crafted his flower garden and water garden like true masterpieces.
