Fantastic place, a must see - We used Viator. The tour started in Paris. Included Monet's Garden and Versailles. With lunch included at a really nice restaurant after Monet's gardens. Our tour person did a fantastic job. She had so much information to share about Monet's Gardens and Versailles. She kept our group together. I would highly recommend this tour. I hope you get a tour guide as good as ours. I wish I could remember her name.

An unforgettable experience! - I was on the Giverny (Monet's House) tour today and it was fantastic! From the market to get our food, to a picnic in an unbeatable setting, to getting to see and learn all about Monet, it was a perfect day. Made better by the witty, and intelligent commentary provided by tour guides Oj and Dave. They kept us safe while biking, explained clearly what we were going to be experiencing that day, and really brought everything to life. I highly recommend this tour and thanks to Oj and Dave for a spectacular day!

Worth your Euros! - First of all, you need to know that when you book with this company, you are supporting a strong charitable effort that the do. So do yourself a favor and google them to see the details. Second, the guides are nice fellows who know enough about Claude Monet to at least whet your appetite to learn more. The drive is about 90 minutes from Paris in a bus that is quite comfortable. Ask for a helmet. They are not offered but they are available. There are many I experienced riders who have no concept of safety. We had a woman on our tour who had a nasty crash and injuries would have been lessened by a helmet. Watch your distance from others. It’s like driving in NYC. There will be at least one moron with your tour. Steer clear. The market is quite small where you will shop your lunch. There is a steep bridge that must be navigated in Vernon that has quite a lot of traffic. There are busy intersections where you want to take great care in crossing. Then the trail flattens out and it is a peaceful and pleasant ride into Giverny. The village is quite lovely. The gardens and house are extremely crowded, even during August, so be prepared. I am convinced that Monet painted the Pont Japonais over and over so he could see it without tourists! The bicycles have no mirrors, so again, be cautious. The baskets attach to the side of the bike and if you have size 12 feet, the basket needs to be attached as far back on the frame as possible. In summary, safety must be your responsibility. The tour itself is quite beautiful. Your picnic is in a lovely place by the Seine. Enjoy!!!

Exactly as advertised, fun and different kind of trip - Itinerary: 1) We took a 1+ hour bus to Vernon where we had ~30 minutes to pick up supplies before we picnicked by the Old Mill. Notes: Vernon isn't Paris, very few spoke English and the tour guides give you some phrases at the beginning but pretty much send everyone on their own after. Also the picnic is on a big black tarp with like 10 other people, unless you brought your own supplies. Neither really bothered us though. 2) The bike tour is really not bad at all. I'm an able-bodied 30-year-old man, but I have only ridden a bike about a dozen times so was nervous. There was no need to be. The group is big enough to pave their own way through the few streets your on, most of the ride is through a level beautiful paved path from Vernon to Giverny, and there's only one or two inclines that no one in our group struggled with. Overall, it's about 10km (6 miles) round-trip. 3) The biking through Giverny was absolutely beautiful. If we did this again, we probably would just have spent the whole day there because there are a ton of cute cafes and enough shops to kill the time between meals. This tour drops you off at the Monet House and gives you just under two hours to do the house, gardens, and gift shops. For many, that's probably fine, but my wife wanted more pictures of the gardens and more time in Giverny. Overall I thought the tour was exactly what it claimed to be and so we have no reason to give it anything other than 5 stars. It was an easy trip from Paris, our tour guide, Nick, was very personable and knowledgeable, the food was good, the gardens are beautiful, the bike ride was pleasant. You definitely won't be disappointed in the tour if you read the description and thought it would be fun. *One piece of advice, keep your GPS history on, because they leave you to explore on your own a few times and give you places to meet, but if you have no sense of direction (points to self) and are in a new place then that can be confusing. We spend about 5-10 minutes trying to figure out where the group was after the gardens.

We loved the gathering of... - We loved the gathering of the food for the picnic. The gardens were superb. Nick was a great tour guide. It wasn’t a problem but it did say we were to be on electric bikes

A great day riding through the French countryside! (But tough for 80 year old Dad!) - We had an amazing day riding bikes through the French countryside. Our guides were informative and also helpful keeping us safe on the bikes. We selected bread, cheese and wine from an open air market and picnicked in the park on the river near the old Mill and the bike path. Monet’s Garden and Home were beautiful but the best part of the day was the time spent riding the bikes along the river and through the village of Giverny. Something one doesn’t do every day! One caveat I’d like to share is that the trip is rated for ages 0-99. We took my 80 year old father who is still relatively active. This was a difficult ride for him. The ride is somewhat hilly, not completely flat. Something to consider if you are taking an elderly person. For myself at the age of 55, I’d rate the ride as moderate.

Glorious day in the French countryside, on bikes. - The bike tour to Monet's garden was a fabulous escape from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Our guide was Abby, who was delightful, engaging, and informative. After a bus ride to Vernon, and a wander around the local market to get our lunch supplies, it was an easy pedal to our lunch spot on the banks of the Seine. Then back on the super comfortable bikes for a cruise along the paved path along the river to the gardens. Express entry tickets with the tour ensured we skipped the hours long queues to enter the gardens, where we were free to stroll by ourselves for a couple of hours. Back on the bikes then for a fun scoot back to the town and on to the bus. Overall a fabulous experience, which we would recommend to those wanting to enjoy a day in the French countryside.

A Plus - Well Done. Kit is probably the best tour guide I’ve ever met. His knowledge on Paris, France, art and history is excellent. Could use him on our trivia team. Thank you

Great day - I enjoyed every aspect of the tour, even the bus ride down the freeway. The short time in Vernon was interesting because it got me out of the Paris sphere and to see the normal France. The cycling was fun. Then Monet’s house and garden were superb. The only spoiler we’re the other tourists. There were just too many especially at the water lilies.
