This presents the ideal chance to explore an exquisite array of ancient perfume bottles. Engulfed in a Second Empire setting, guests journey through three millennia of history: Get acquainted with the Grasse expertise, extinct raw materials, and age-old aromatic items. The museum functions as a perfume-maker’s lab, featuring scarce and valuable bottles from the time of the Pharaohs to Fabergé, reflective of societal and cultural practices.

Following your 20-minute tour, we invite you to engage in a session of sensory and olfactory recall enhancement via the explanation of the smell pyramid and the identification of 3 combined mixtures that compose the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. Great experience - Delightful experience for those who love perfume and want to learn more. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating when we ran late. They re booked us for the next day. Excellent perfume at very affordable prices.

Interesting experience - It was great to create your own perfume and learn a lot about the story of perfume. I can recommend it for adults and older children.

Excellent tour - we loved it - Our guide was wonderful, and our family of four (two adults, two teens) had a really nice time creating our perfums and learning about the history and science. Great tour, just long enough. Strong recommend.

Perfume workshop - The workshop was very informative but there were not enough choices of top, heart and base notes to mix. Nonetheless, the experience was one of a kind.

Quick yet well rounded experience. If you have the time, go. - First and foremost, the workshop and the visit are in English. You will learn the basics of fragrance design by doing by yourself the final balancing of one the Fragranard’s fragance. No industrial secrets will be revealed but you will get a glimpse of the tools of the trade. The museum is small but a enlightening experience. If scents is your thing don’t hesitate to go.

Pong - This was another tour included with the Paris Pass, informative and enjoyable on the whole. The shop directed us next door to the 'waiting area' but there were zero seats here - had to sit on the stairs as my feet were aching... and the carpet was filthy. Nevertheless, I'm glad we made this last minute booking - the last tour of the day and it lasted much longer than billed. If the previous ones ran to time I think they'd be rather rushed. It is a basic workshop, as others have said, but the guide/demonstrator was really helpful and considerate, and went on to describe the history/techniques and artefacts in the small museum very concisely. Of course, it all ended up back in the shop with a few more testers and 'special offers' (you know - just for our group) but I didn't feel under any pressure to part with any money. Some interesting smells certainly, but I'm happy to stick with my own brand.

Missed appointment - Small disappointment, we had booked a mini perfume creation workshop which was followed by a visit to the museum. Our guide failed to interest us despite a seemingly fascinating subject. The workshop and the visit were messy, disjointed and quite soporific. A shame because the interior of the building is magnificent and the exhibition is well constructed. We left with the impression of a missed appointment.

Unfriendly and unhelpful store staff. - In the store the staff appeared cold and distant. Few exchanges and no desire to help. In the store you have to buy, pay and nothing else. This is very uncommercial and unfriendly. We will buy our perfumes elsewhere.
