Customize your own Chanel inspired handbag - Well organized and professional. I came away with an enviable handbag and one of the best souvenirs from Paris. Materials provided in workshop were ++++ and so many options to customize. Thank you to all the staff at MiniMeLand!

Must do! - This was such a fun and amazing activity. It does take some time to get the bag completed but it’s well worth it. So fun that I signed up for a second class!

This is a must do!!! - I arrived early around 8:45a and they weren't open yet (open at 9). The group total was around 8 (I came alone). I had a young lady with blue hair (the shorter lady maybe named Alaine?). We were escorted downstairs to lock up our belongings, but they also had different, one of a kind pieces for sale you can view while waiting for the experience to start. We were brought back upstairs to the crafting area. Our master crafter, (the blue haired lady) explained to us how the overall process works and then proceeded to get us started. First you select which bag and which size you want. They offer tote bags or hand bags (s/m/l). You can also select between a soft bag or rigid/stiff bag. Next, you'll select your fabrics. There will be different color codes that correspond with different prices. There are different linings for the inside to pick from, some have a pocket and some don't. She then went around and handed out the templates for the bags based on which bag/size you want. She goes over what to do with them and how to properly apply them. After you cut them out, you choose your accessories. They have Coco Chanel exclusive pieces for an extra fee available. (I purchased one myself). If you get the rigid bag, there's an extra step to make it stiff, and they'll show you how to do it. You'll then take your bucket of pieces and accessories to be sewn. It does take a bit longer if you have a rigid bag. You have the option to add a back pocket too. The bags are sewn and provided buckles and then the lady adds the islets for the straps and bottom posts. She applied the straps you select and any accessories. Once you're complete, it's taken to checkout. Please be advised...you get an allowance for the bag. Each piece of your bag is a different price depending on which fabric category you use. Rigid is more than soft, pockets are extra, straps have different prices, and accessories have fees as well, so BRING EXTRA MONEY!!! (My bag was almost $500€). I was there from 9a to around 4p or 5p. They continuously apologized for the delay, but I was ok, because I enjoyed the whole process, as well as watching the next class. I would do this all over again. I loved it so much. The master crafter was extremely helpful and the older lady at the register was sweet and helped with the Chanel pieces and checkout. Please do this!!!

One of my favorite experiences in paris - This experience was one of a kind! The people helping us were all amazing. My friend and I had so much fun picking out our fabrics and making our one of a kind purses. We cannot recommend this place enough! Loved it!!

Great day! - We really enjoyed making our bags! Couch a cute unusual experience. The people running the experience wonderful, and do patient & friendly!

On daughter's bucket list - we had a great time! - My 15 year old and I had a lot of fun. It starts a bit overwhelming and I would have loved to understand the entire process at the start vs. piece by piece (no pun intended). While we were waiting for class to start we looked at fabric and didn't understand the pricing...if they could say that at the getgo it would be easier and efficient. You pick the style of purse you want to make, fabric and then you get template to cut the pieces with a type of iron on interfacing. You then add to padding, put in foot-bottoms, etc. As others have said, cost can add up easily. We were overly mindful of it, and while we like our purses, they are not as "stylish" as we could probably have done. A couple things I would have loved to know in advance, so sharing here. The ground floor has a lot of large tables for their different classes and they have an entire (and very cool) basement area that includes lockers for your things. Everyone was really nice and we are glad we went.

Disappointing - tik tok lied - Took twice as long and everything was crooked and uncentered. I had to leave early because I had dinner at 6:30 (class started at 1) and was late. I came back to pick up my bag the next day and the buttons were clearly crooked and off center.

Do not go!!!! Save your money and purchase a luxury bag instead!!! - I would not recommend Mini Me while you are in Paris. First, there were 12 of us to one single instructor trying to teach all of us how to make these bags. This instructor was also not very kind nor helpful and we had to constantly ask her what we should do or where we should find certain objects, rather than being guided through the experience. Additionally, it takes much longer than 3 hours, we ended up leaving around 1:20 pm after arriving at 9:00am. This was fairly frustrating as we had other plans that we had to reschedule. Finally, the experience was extremely expensive. Everyone that was in the class with us did not leave without spending an additional $150 on their bags -- with some people spending an additional 300 on their creations-- because the instructions were very unclear and the materials were not properly labeled. We ended up spending around $320 per bag after thinking the deposit would be close to enough to cover our creations. We did not have a great experience as it was more expensive than we were anticipating in addition to the fact that the staff was not helpful nor kind.

Cap avoid!! This place entraps customers - This place will entrap you to spend minimum 350 euro or above at the end of the experience. Let me tell you why. We went for the handbag making experience and paid €145 Euro pp as advertised. When we get there we are given a sheet of paper with the handbag pattern. BUT what they don’t tell you is that each panel is priced separately and they have tiered the pricing avoiding to the fabric you use. So for example: Front panel of the bag -€65 euro Back panel - €65 euro Side panels (depending on the material) €20-50 (x2) Bottom panel which usually needs to be leather additional €45 Chain / strap €10-30 Inside pocket / lining €€ extra Charms and accessories €20 -€200 ++ The reason why I said this place will entrap you is because you cannot make a handbag without a front panel a back panel to side panels. Bottom panel strap at the very basic. If you pay €145 this deposit is offset against the end price but be careful because they don’t explain that there are different prices for the fabric what happened to our group was when people went and selected the fabric and after cutting they realised how expensive the fabric that they had selected for each of their panels for the handbag really was. Us on top of our €145 deposit, we ended up paying an additional €170-€300 extra after making the handbag so unless you want to spend £500 plus to make your own handbag, this place is a scam. There is absolutely no transparency on the pricing breakdown until you get there. They don’t tell you or make it clear the different costs of the material and the fabric that you will need to use for your bag. The fabric that is available all tended to be the higher cost, so even if we wanted to go lower And select fabrics that were cheaper. Only a very very few were made available for us.

Wish it were more welcoming - The main woman running the class was incredibly rude and impatient. This was a stressful experience for anyone that is a novice.
