Great way to see the heart of Paris! - This was a great way to see some major sites in quick manner. It was also great to not have to walk to all of them. It was a great way to rest and take in the sites of Paris. Highly recommend!

Pretty good Value - There are two major hop on busses in Paris Tootbus and Big Bus. This was as good and the stops were in reasonable locations. Overall it was fun but it's slow because the route is fixed. It's a 2 hour ride for all 10 stops. Most of that is due to traffic so it's not like they will make it up. We were there during a marathon that disrupted the route and it meant we didn't get to ride at all for one morning. They extended the ticket by a day but that didn't really help. Also figure you are going to have to take a bus or metro to get to a tootbus stop. Finding Tootbus stops is tricky, use the Tootbus app, it does work for this and it shows you the position of the busses on the route.

Great! - I must have been very lucky because our bus was not overcrowded at all. We all sat very comfortably and had a view of all of the touristic spots without any heads in our way. Take a jacket and scarf because it gets very windy and chilly in the night. You might think you can handle it but a handful of people had to go inside the bus just halfway through the tour. The places they go around are the main sites that you want to see. The audio is the part I would change. Somethings were interesting to listen to but I think it needs to be more updated. The start and end point is the same (next to the Louvre) and they left on time. The tour is just under 2 hours. As a solo traveller, I really liked it.

Good tour option - Good way to get around Paris. Commentary was adequate. Stops were not well marked so hard to find at times.

Good idea but often overcrowded - The Hop-on hop-off system is a nice and useful idea. Unfortunately are the busses totally overcrowded. A booking should garantie that you get a little place in the bus. We let two busses pass trough because there weren’t any space. Some travellers tickets were controlled, some not. The Mobile- App works well. I would recommend use the phone and own headphones because if you don’t find a sitting place you’ll not have the chance to plug-in the bus company headphones.

Room for improvement - Certainly a good way to get a first impression of the main attractions of the city. On the plus side, we never had to wait too long for the next bus, explanations in several different languages and good views, particularly from the top. Negative, that in February/winter! you couldn't really sit on the top with the roof open. We only ever had a bus with a closed top on the red line, on all other lines the bus was open, and it was absolutely freezing. Even sitting downstairs, it got far too cold inside the bus with the wind blowing in. Some very long stops made the trip very slow. Okay for one day, I guess.

Discover by Night was not dark - Don’t go on tour in June. Light didn’t start coming on until 1025 PM. Tour was over by 10:50. Also trams stopped running so returning to CDG hotel was difficult and long ride on a bus.

Avoid - Busses constantly overcrowded, drivers just skip the designated stops? Had to get a taxi back! Pay the extra for the BigBus Tour, they seemed to have 3 times the amount of busses running, of pay an Uber to take you to each site would work out cheaper and easier!
