Palace of Versailles by bike - Our tour guide was fabulous. She provided great historical background to the events that led up to the French Revolution and the multiple expansions of the palace. The bike ride was fun and great way to see much of the 2000 acres in the park. Could have used a few more minutes in the palace itself, but we were able to complete the entire tour (we skipped the gift shop for lack of time)

Great time and great views! - Arnaud was such an amazing tour guide. It was rainy and windy, but he made the tour very comfortable. It was nice to get to learn about the history of Versailles and see the grounds.

Best Day In Paris - This was the most wonderful day. Our guide was fantastic. He made sure everyone was having a great day. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did we get to experience Versailles the palace and grounds but we experienced the village and the wonderful food and wine they have to offer. I highly recommend this trip.

great! - The tour guide was attentive and friendly. My mother is not good at cycling, but the guide made every effort to assist and encourage her. We were all happy and reassured.

A beautiful day in Versailles - Spend the morning riding bikes around the canals on the Versailles property and learn about the history of the castle before gaining entrance to view the palace at your own pace. Our guide Pierre was very knowledgeable and gave us some laughs as well! Would recommend!

Our guide was very... - Our guide was very knowledgeable. Took us all around Versailles on bikes. It was a beautiful bike ride with stops at other spots besides the main palace that we would have never seen. The tour did not include an inside the palace tour. Also you do still have to wait in a 20 min line to get in the palace. If you have kids, the palace tickets don’t include entrance to the actual garden for youth.

Loved it but would do different - I did enjoy this tour! Don’t get me wrong. But I would do things differently. The bikes are not used at the actual palace. They are used to get to 2 on-site locations + lunch. By the time we got to the palace & returned the bikes we were so worn out. We explored the palace but didn’t have the energy for the gardens which was the part I was looking forward to most. Our guide was amazinggggggg! I think his name was Ivan. Made the history come to life & we enjoyed learning from him. He was very polite & fun to be around. Shopping in the market + having the picnic was very fun too. Such a cute experience. I felt like the tour coulda skipped the first monument. The summer home & saved our energy for the best parts.

Okay - This tour starts at 8:30 and we weren’t able to access the main palace until after 4:00. This left 3 hours to explore the palace and the gardens, which isn’t enough time. Guide was nice and knowledgeable, but spent too much time outside the grounds. Over an hour was spent for lunch. Very little actual time on the bikes.Lunch should have been at the end of the tour, not the beginning. The train station with direct train from Versailles to Paris was closed when we tried to return to Paris at 7:30. The closure wasn’t the fault of the tour company but we could have been warned or told what to do in event the station closed (apparently this happens regularly). For almost 2 hours we had to figure out how to get back to Paris on our own. Part of the reason we booked this tour was the ease of getting metro tickets and not having to worry about transportation.

Race not a tour - Wish we could experience the beautiful views the park had to offer. Instead we raced to keep up with the guide who had zero interest in the wellbeing of her guests. 3 people fell of their bikes. We asked her several times to slow down so we could enjoy the scenery and the tour. First time was "I never had complaints before". Second time she did not even acknowledge our request. Third time after my family member fell off their bike and we were left behind, she did not even notice to come help. If we wanted to race, we would enter a race. We paid a lot of money to enjoy the scenery. I will not recommend this tour at all. It will be cheaper and more rewarding to enter an actual cycle RACE. We understand it rained later during the tour (and it rained hard), but even more reason to not speed through puddles when you know bike brakes will seize! We do not blame the guide at all for the weather, we do blame her though for her complete disregard for us as paying customers. Do not waste money on this overpriced disappointment!
